Pro: abused and insecure heroine, angst, misunderstandings

Cons: I didn't realize this isn't really a stand-alone, so I was a bit confused at times and missing a lot of backstory. Also feel like the angst was sort of smoothed over without appropriate groveling.

The Duke of Dunstan made Julia his wife and now he appears to be regretting it. However Julia is certain she can make something of this but the ghosts of her past marriage linger. Her infertility with her ex and his abusive treatment of her both make her wary of relationships. When she realises she's being drugged she doesn't know who to trust.Interesting and charming book about what happens after the marriage, there's an ebook of the meetup but I haven't read it.
