Chapter I

I was an ordinary university student, striving for success, for excellent grades, ambition, enthusiasm . My friend Eskendir . I met him in my first year at the university . He was modest and uncommunicative . I went up to him and talked to him and agreed to meet him at the football field . He had a contented face, as if he hadn't played football in a very long time . He was a genius, not learning to pass exams . His classmates called him the drunken master . He was from the city of Satpayev* . Steppe, Ulytau* mountains, the valley of the nomad steppe . It's as if the universe sent a person who knows where the mausoleum is historical sites . I have been planning this for a long time , I have dreamed of going to the Mausoleum of my ancestors , Jochi Khan, since my childhood .

Satpayev is a small town with a population of 60,000 . His house was located at the roadway in the direction of the history of the steppe . His family owned a farm there . The farm was a suburb . June 2016 . When the first time went to see the mausoleum . I and my friend, my father, left the city of Astana* for Satpayev 700 km . A long painful journey , along the way we passed many quarries, industries of industry .

It was 2018 . I watched from the window , it was raining outside . Autumn is the warmest and coldest, deceptive, changeable month of the year . The yellow color swallowed up the universe .
