Chapter 1
Rockland Florida
Rockland is located within ten miles of St. Augustine, Florida. St. Augustine discovered by Ponce De Leon, is the state’s oldest city also known as the Fountain of Youth. Located in the northern part of the State of Florida on the Atlantic Ocean and has one of the oldest Army Forts, built to protect the United States of America from pirates.
Pirates would sail through the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean looking for any type of treasure on the water and land. They would sail into port to stock up and at the same time they made sure to have some fun before they hit the sea again. These pirates would reap havoc on anything that came in their path. The people of St. Augustine did not mind, there was always plenty of money to be had when the pirates were in town.
December 2016
December 2016 is when Lilly’s story begins from being in a happy carefree existence to a life on the run.
One rainy night in November 2016 Lilly knew she needed to make a change, she had been working at the same job for the last ten years and being the type of person she was she was always looking for some new challenge that would give her what she had been missing, as well as something so rewarding she would not think of changing her job again any time soon.
Lilly worked as a paralegal in the legal profession for the past sixteen years, during that time she developed skills that all her past employers considered to be very competent. Her work ethic was by far beyond reproach, other people that did the same type of work did not have the same level of professionalism.
Lilly’s timing would not have been considered was not good, jobs in this field had all but dried up. This is not something that would ever hold Lilly back, not in the past and certainly not now.
She was so surprised to have found a highly desirable position in which they were looking to hire immediately. This company had gone through several girls in the last few weeks, these girls did not have what it takes nor did they have the skills the company was looking for. She could not believe her good fortune, it turned out that the company was the fortunate one.
When Lilly was hired as real estate paralegal, her primary duty was to do legal research. She was told she would be working directly with Eva. Eva was an attractive woman in her thirties who could have easily been a model, she worked directly with the attorney. She and Lilly worked together to finalize all the documents prior to them being given to the attorney. She was so busy she did not have the time or desire to do the type of work Lilly loved, besides the fact Eva had never done this type of work, this type of work is extremely demanding, Eva simply did not want any part of it.
Eva was friends with Louise, the two of them were best buddies. They liked to hang out in the local bars drinking and snorting cocaine. Eva told Louise about the new girl she hired, they both thought Lilly was the perfect candidate for what they had in mind, Eva and Louise began plotting the theft of Lilly’s identity.
Both girls where adopted by the same couple, Carole and her husband, who were part of the local mob clique. Carole did not like that she was still linked to her former husband, now deceased, who was killed by the mob. Carole wanted to put her former life behind her, Lilly was the key.
As it turned out Lilly was not happy with her new job, in the beginning she thought it would be a huge challenge, nope, it was not challenging enough. Her primary job was to answer phones and to do typing, this is not what she signed up for. Lilly could have been happy if things were different and she had a lot more work to.
Eva was expecting Lilly to stay at this job for a long time, after all they gave her everything she asked for. Eva was looking forward to carrying out her plan of stealing Lilly’s identity with Louise’s help. The two of them thought it was going to be easy, then after only four weeks of working there Lilly informed Louise that this job was not going to work for her, she never expected to be nothing more than a highly paid receptionist, although flattering, it still was not for her.
Eva was so distraught, she begged Lilly not to go. Lilly did not like to see people upset, but she also knew she had to do what was right for herself and she simply was not going to be happy in that position.
In December of 2016 Lilly found herself unemployed she needed to take some time to decide what it was she really wanted to do rock and roll was still calling.
Chapter 2

January 2017
One day at the start of the new year Lilly starting thinking about that one thing that she always wanted to do in her life, she always wanted to be a singer in a rock and roll band, her style was very unique a cross between country and country folk rock, it is not exactly what most people want to hear. Lilly could not change her style she could change it up like most artists, but her southern drawl was strong.
Did it really matter what the world preferred as long as everyone that heard Lilly sing liked what they heard? All she really wanted was that they liked the way she sounded this is what truly made Lilly happy. But most of all her love was what she wanted to share with the world. She already knew that this is what she had always
