Wedding, Water, Wine

A small-town wedding takes place, and the caterer doesn't bring enough wine. A woman helping out at the event tells her son. Suddenly, some pots filled with water are now filled with wine. Was this just a case of the right place and the right time with the married couple as the benefactors? Or is there something of far greater magnitude going on than meets the eye?
