BIOGRAPHY
My name is Omar C Davis; I’m a resident of Savannah Georgia. I’m the father of two beautiful daughters. My passion is helping those in need, most importantly in need of Jesus Christ. I’m a member of Growing in Grace Ministry in Savannah Georgia. Fifteen years ago, God put it on my pastor Dr. Rodney Cutter’s heart to start going to the inner-city night shelter every fourth Saturday to serve breakfast to the men and women that reside there. I started going and I started ministering before we served breakfast and it’s been two years now. I also work with People Helping People and Matthew Gunn Outreach Ministry on Forsyth Park on Sundays, where they give away clothes, household goods, hygiene, and food. Jesus went to those in need! And that’s what I’m passionate about!
THIS BOOK IS ABOUT SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIPS
NOTE: All scripture readings in the entire book are from The New King James Bible.
Most relationships are built on sex, finances, looks, emotions, intellect, and love for each other. These types of relationships are natural.
Relationship: noun, the way in which two or more concepts objects or people are connected. On the state of being connected. Relation, link, correlation, alliance, interconnection, interrelationship, association.
Physical: (adjective) relating to the body as opposed to the mind. Physical leads to emotional.
Emotions: (plural noun) A natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one’s circumstances, mood, or relationship with others (feeling, sentiment, instinct, intuition)
Material: Denoting or consisting of physical objects, rather than the mind or spirit. Physical, mundane, worldly, earthly, temporal, concrete, real.
This book shows what makes successful relationships and it starts with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This gives us a relationship with our Father God, which gives us a relationship with the Holy Spirit. This is spiritual! Supernatural!
It’s life-altering for the good or the bad for the people you allow in your life. Think of all the people you have allowed in your life from the age of thirteen to twenty-five, thirty-five, fifty-five, from childhood until now. Many people are deceased because of relationships. Many are mentally disturbed because of relationships. Many are in prison for life because of relationships. Others are doctors – and all because of relationships. When you find the relationships that this book describes, your life will be taken to the next level. You will understand what successful relationships are.
We must use spiritual discernment to find these successful relations and the Holy Spirit is the center! Supernatural!
HOW IT ALL STARTED WITH ME
Thirty years ago, at age fifteen, the year 1988 I walked into Burger King with Gary, one of my best friends. I go to the counter to order and I notice a girl…perfect face, perfect shape. Gary speaks to her. He knows her from the Frazier Homes where we live, and she used to live. Once we receive our food and sit down to eat, I asked him about her. I was seeking to find out more information about this girl because he seemed to know her quite well. He says things about her that are not too good but I’m not hearing anything he says because my attention is focused on the fact that I have to get with her. Before we leave the restaurant, I get her name and number. How that happened; I’m not sure because I was quiet and shy. When you grow up poor, you don’t have nice clothes or live in decent housing, you try to stay low key. You never place yourself in situations that bring attention to yourself.
We started talking and I started visiting her at her apartment. I was getting dropped off to visit her daily. Over time I met her mom, dad, and older sister. Her father wasn’t very talkative but I was always respectful to him. Shortly after we started dating her father committed suicide in their home.
It was nothing for me to go over to her apartment and just chill
