Any specialty stuff? Axle asks as he comes up to the gate. His posture and tone are light, almost carefree, and I narrow my eyes at him. He knows exactly what is in all of our weekly shipments.

Some meds for Doc but that’s about it, boss, I reply, watching him closely. I know he hates when I call him that but when he doesn’t even glare at me I am sure something is up. This is Axle. Fearsome leader of The Tomb and its inmates. He doesn’t let shit slide, even if it’s me.

I turn back to the gates where a few of the men are carrying the last of the heavy crates inside.
