Dennis Scifres is a recently retired commercial real estate lawyer and developer. Raised in the hills of Kentucky, Denny Bob, his childhood name, a self-taught golf prodigy, starred on his high school varsity golf team for 5 years, starting in the 8th grade. A graduate of Columbia College in New York City and The University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas, his first job as a lawyer was with a boutique law firm in Dallas that was acquired by Jones Day. Dennis retired from this esteemed law firm at age 32 to become a commercial real estate developer and investor. Dennis now lives in Fort Worth, Texas with his wife Sherry, an executive with Bank of America before her retirement. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.
