《珠還記》描述極左治國生靈塗炭，抗左時賢身陷冤獄無一倖免，苟延殘喘唯有逃離家園。光陰荏苒，極左統帥壽終促成浩劫終結、左焰收斂。當局厲行撥亂反正改革開 放，糾正前愆，國計民生逐漸複元。昔日被迫去國的炎黃子孫，紛紛珠還故土，各求所願。故事主角心有餘悸，改革開放十年後才敢在故園露面，其人回鄉所見所聞 和經歷儼如史詩，交錯展現神州一隅昨天今天連串悲哀事件，平鋪直?也扣人心弦。
