邵子(本名邵鳳蘭),O型天蠍座,父親浙江諸暨人,母親台灣南投人,在南投縣草屯鎮出生成長,國立中興大學中文系畢業。
從小愛讀書寫作,但都屬於盲修瞎練,閉門造車,直到進入中文系,才有機會接觸創作技巧與理論,這個時期的作品,大抵為各式題材與技巧的實驗,量多,熱力充沛,一往情深,置青澀與狹隘於度外,總以為嘔心瀝血,奮力一嘯,定能吐出半個文字的盛唐。
直到出社會後,因緣際會,當了國中老師,這才發現,原來生活中最大的創作,是課堂上的莘莘學子們,於是拋卻技巧與理論,創作內容,轉向記錄師生間碰撞出的曼妙火花,這些青春的身影,成了創作中最真實且動人的題材,這個時期的作品,寫得很慢,量少,不再過度用力,卻是步步回眸,都充滿感謝,感謝有幸能與他們比肩,彼此陪伴,共同走過一小段生命的長河。
大學時期的作品,與刊載於報紙副刊的文字,收錄在1998年南投文化局出版的「紗之獨舞」一書中。

About the Author
Shao Zi (real name Shao Feng-lan) attributes her personality to blood type O and astrological symbol Scorpio. Her father came to Taiwan from Zhuji county in Zhejiang Province, mainland China. Her mother was from Nantou, Taiwan. Shao Zi was born and raised in the same town where her mother grew up: Nantou, Taiwan. She graduated from National Chung-Hsing University with a major in Chinese Literature.
Shao Zi has loved reading and writing since childhood. Her youth writings were all based on intuition and passion. College opened the door to the rich literature world for Shao Zi. She gained access to the theory and techniques in Chinese literature. Her work during this period included all kinds of experiments with subjects and skills. It was also a hard working period for Shao Zi. Despite lack of experience, she delivered work in quantity and touched difficult topics.
After Shao Zi became a teacher in the country side, she found something new inspired by interacting with teenage students in the classroom. She let go rules in her training and turned her focus to real life. Daily interaction details revealing the joys and struggles of students and teachers have become the source
