    Dedication

To my wife Michaelle and our children Megan, Melanie and Marcus, my love for all of you knows no end. M Team Mama Michaelle: Thanks for the opportunity to grow into the dual roles of loved husband and father. Megan, may your travels be safe, focused, and blessed with enlightenment and personal achievement. Melanie and Marcus you both are stars in my universe. As you both grow and learn, allow educational discoveries of wonder to expand you’re thinking with clarity and wisdom. Allow yourselves to become citizens of the world, confident in who you are and contribute not only to your personal lives but to the good of others. May you both continue to be blessings to your family.

    Dubline Rider

    I am a Dubline Rider

Roots down deep in west Jamaica

As a boy I used to plant banana and the root cassava

I used to plant red peas and gungu

I used to weed me ground sometimes on my knees

I am a country boy if you please

Parts of my summer I used to help stack sugar cane

I used to play nuff (many) children’s games

While in my heart always the flame

    To be a Dubline Rider

With roots down deep in west Jamaica

    I am a Dubline Rider…

I used to get up before day dawn

Help my father milk the goat and cow

Then I had to wash up and go to school

Because my father say boy you can’t grow up and be a fool
