They Deny They’ve Never Won a Debate on Climate Change

For decades all we have heard out of the mouths of proponents of man-caused global warming – Anthropogenic Global Warming – is how this Manmade Climate Change Theory is settled science and the debate is over. Even our political leaders – like Senator John McCain, Joe Lieberman and Dennis Hastert – have said The debate about global warming is over. They even tried to pass three ‘Climate Stewardship Acts’ in 2003, 2005 & 2007.

And that means that all of the Scientific Claims that they mingle together to manufacture their complex AGW Theory are also unquestionable: that CO 2 is the chief cause of AGW; that burning fossil fuels is the greatest contributor of CO 2; that America is the major culprit in the world; that conservative Americans are the most uninformed and worst deniers; that the world is fragile and needs man to keep its temperature (fever) down; that there is no God that created, controls and sustains the planet.

"The debate cannot be over" because there has never been any sort of National-Public Scientific Debate on Manmade Global Warming ... just like there was never a debate on their previous claim of Global Cooling in the 1970’s. If they claim there has been such a debate, insist they present you with the date, time, place and participants in that debate. It does not exist! Listen, you can’t claim to have won a debate on something that you have never debated. You can’t claim scientific consensus as science; much less call uncontested/undebated theories to be settled science. Polls and Consensus do not create any kind of science, much less settled science.

This is similar to how evolutionary scientists now claim the theory of evolution is settled science and the debate is over. The difference between the evolution debate and the global warming debate is there were a number of major debates between Creation Scientists and Evolution Theorists – like The Warren-Flew Debate – and the evolutionists lost every one of them. (Which is why they don’t debate the issue anymore!) But that little setback didn’t stop the evolutionists from lying through their teeth and saying they won the debates (as they did after the Scopes Trial) and saying over and over that all true scientists believe in evolution and the debate is over! (We must remember that atheists have no compunctions about lying!) In fact, scientifically speaking, saying the debate about so-called Climate Science is over is in and of itself a scientific contradiction because it conflicts with the tentative aspect most modern scientists claim about True Science:

All scientific research and findings must be tentative and subject to revision and abandonment in light of later discovered facts that falsify the theory (see The Supreme Scientist, pp. 106ff). ¹ The AGW theory has been falsified!

One reason the AGW proponents have been able to get by with their Junk Science for decades, without any debate, is fear-mongering often trumps fact-sharing. Just as religious hysteria often trumps biblical history (See my End of the World Book).

Another major reason is because those who promote AGW have utilized extreme exaggerations and false claims – like ninety-seven percent of climate scientists believe in AGW – to put those who don’t accept AGW into a Negative Debating Position: which has them trying to disprove AGW instead of making the proponents of AGW prove it. Though disproving AGW was/is not a problem, there was never an academic reason or obligation for us to do so. Why not? Because it was/is first and foremost the Affirmative Obligation of AGW scientists and pundits to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that AGW has occurred and is True Science – which they have never done – before anyone wastes their time proving their non-debated bald assertions are baseless and false!

The purpose of this short study is to present indisputable Positive Debate Affirmatives about all of the historical facts and scientific-empirical evidences that support a Divinely Created and Controlled Universe and Earth with Natural Systems that explain all Global Climate Changes, CO 2 levels, Rising Seas, Melting Ice Caps, Ozone Holes, etc. Since all believers in AGW have to deny these observable Natural Systems that Nature’s God built into our complex universe and world to maintain their AGW Theory, they will be forced into the Negative Debate Position and have to come out of their dark AGW closet and explain their many Climate Change Denials. Before we expose all of their Scientific Denials, let’s disprove their #1 false and inflated claim that "97%" of bona fide Climate Scientists are in their Corner, Closet or Cabal.

Do 97% of Scientists accept AGW?

The reason AGW adherents and activists make this bold claim is to claim scholastic superiority and thereby summarily dismiss any scientist who doesn’t accept AGW as not being a real scientist. Proof of this can be seen in John Kerry’s (a Secretary of State, who was not a scientist) dismissal of a real scientist, Dr. William Happar – a Professor of Physics at Princeton University, and director of energy research at the US Department of Energy – who had just repudiated manmade climate change. Here’s Kerry’s dismissal of Dr. Happar:

One professor or one scientist is not going to negate peer-reviewed scientists by thousands over many years and 97% of the scientists on the planet! ²

This claim is nothing more than a bogus bluff, eco-puffing and blowing smoke to cloud the issue and distract people from their lack of proof for AGW and their Zero debate performance. The scientific truth is that there was never anything scientific about their process of arriving at the 97% figure. Let’s expose this 97% Falsehood!

First, you can’t claim 97% of ALL Scientists accept AGW if you have NOT done a survey of 100% of the Scientists – be they atmospheric scientists, meteorologists, climatologists, hydrologists, physicists, etc. – in the world on this specific issue. And I submit to you that there’s no recorded evidence of such a Global Scientist Survey on this issue. If there were such a survey, it wouldn’t be hard to find because it would be thicker than Obama’s Health Care Bill! In fact, it would probably be enshrined in AL Gore’s House! And if there is one, I want to see it and have it verified by the Florida Election Committee to assure us there are no hanging chads on the pro-Gore punch cards! Listen, this alone proves their entire premise and proof of 97% was a fabricated falsehood from the beginning.

Second, most of the alleged climate scientists at the 1988 UN-IPCC were NOT Climate Scientists. Included in the so-called 97% of Scientists at the IPCC were weather forecasters/predictors, participants in the IPCC’s written survey, and mere authors of books and movies on climate, like Al Gore: who was the first great prophet and author of the First AGW Bible and Movie – An Inconvenient Truth – for AGW believers. Funny how it hasn’t seemed to matter to Hollywood AGW Activists that Al Gore was not any kind of scientist, much less a Climatologist, and both his book and movie, An Inconvenient Truth, were full of Inconsistent Lies, false predictions and pseudo science. So much so that a UK Judge said it contained nine major errors which meant it had to be presented with a disclaimer about its being a political presentation rather than scientific production! (As we have learned from the East Anglia Email Scandal, Climategate, and hundreds of other false predictions and eco-lies, environmentalists have a tendency to lie and have no compunctions against doing so!) Of course, now, after years of false propaganda, we must add all the public school and college science teachers (like Bill Nye), loud-mouth politicians (like Al Gore and Barack Obama) and Hollywood activists – like Leonardo DiCaprio and Darren Aronofsky, the producer of the latest Eco-movie, NOAH – to their growing list of AGW Scientists!

Third, there can be no doubt that those who were pushing the Global Cooling lie back in the 1970s are the exact same "Climate

Change Scientists who now populate these Global Warming claims. They are the exact same people who have been wrong in every prediction they have made about the soon-to-arrive dire consequences of Climate Change (which predictions I will present in their Fifth Denial)! Though consensus is not science, the consensus of these false prophets isn’t worth debating!

Fourth, in 2008, 31,487 named scientists who disagreed with AGW – which included 9,029 who were PhDs, and hundreds who were atmospheric scientists, meteorologists and climatologists – signed The Global Warming Petition put out by the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine (www.petitionproject.org). ³ This Petition was cited often in Congress. Now I am well aware of the argument about how not all of these scientists were climate scientists. But that does not inviolate the Petition or the Point it makes. For there is no escaping the fact that a good number of the signers were reputable climate scientists with PhDs and were available for public debates on the issue, including Senator Inhofe.

On the other hand, I am unaware of any public debates between Al Gore and his Scientific Disciples with any of the scientists who were on the Petition. In fact, I have not seen any evidence that a single one of the alleged AGW scientists even responded to their invitations to debate, or did anything but ignore and avoid them like the plague. I am also quite sure most of those on this Petition were not polled by the UN when its survey was done. Quite an oversight!

Fifth, many other prominent climate scientists and researchers, from many different scientific fields of expertise, have challenged the AGW theory for decades, have written many books repudiating it, and have offered, and are still offering, to publicly debate the theory with AGW scientists. Here are a few you might cite:

Lord Monckton, the Grandfather of Climate Science, offered to arrange and pay for an International Debate between himself and Al Gore, the godfather of AGW. ⁴ Al Gore did not accept!

Dr. William Gray (now deceased), Meteorologist at Colorado State University, atmospheric scientist, and accomplished hurricane forecaster, denied AGW and had this to say about AGW and his colleagues:

The human impact on the atmosphere is simply too small to have a major effect on global temperatures…. It bothers me that my fellow scientists are not speaking out against something they know is wrong. But they also know that they would never get any grants if they spoke out. I don’t care about grants. ⁵

Dr. Tim Ball, Professor of Geography in Canada, totally rejects AGW and wrote a book entitled: Human Caused Global Warming – The Biggest Deception in History. The Deliberate Corruption of Climate Science. ⁶

Dr. Siegfried Fred Singer, Atmospheric Physicist and Professor of Environmental Science at the University of Virginia, wrote numerous books debunking AGW. ⁷

Dr. Willie Soon, Aerospace Engineer at Harvard-Smithsonian

Astrophysics, and Sallie Baliunas, Astrophysicist, wrote against AGW and insisted the sun is the major cause of any warming or melting ice. (Mr. Sun is the only cause of All Global Warming!) ⁸

Dr. Richard Lindzen, Professor Emeritus of Atmospheric Sciences at MIT, disputes AGW as being political and disputed by the fact that there has been no global warming over the last two decades (since 1997), in spite of the rise in Carbon Dioxide. ⁹

Dr. Roy Spencer, PhD, Climatologist, former NASA Scientist, author of An Inconvenient Deception (E-Book, available for free download), to repudiate Al Gore’s latest book, An Inconvenient Sequel. He said this about the claim that Global Warming was the cause of Houston’s flooding due to Hurricane Harvey: Making naturally-occurring severe weather seem unnatural is a favorite tactic of Al Gore. Then he presented a picture of the same place in Houston being 54.4 feet under water in 1935 compared to being 38 feet during Hurricane Harvey’s flooding. He also showed how Hurricane Irma (circa September 5-11, 2017) wasn’t the strongest hurricane in American history. He also said he believes the IPCC may have included him in the 97% because he admitted that man may have some effect on the climate … but nothing to worry about or worth trying to fix. ¹⁰ They probably left out his solution!

Brian Sussman, Meteorologist and author of Climategate, attends Al Gore’s public speeches on global warming and uses megaphones asking for a debate. Al Gore has not yet accepted. ¹¹
