The Sun and the Moon
Long long time ago, the hills, there lived a mother, brother and sister. One day, mother went out to work at a party.
Watch the house well. I’ll bring some delicious cake for you
said mum.
The brother and the sister thought of the cake and waited for their mother. It became dark in the mountain.
I am really late. The kids are waiting for me.
The mother was hurrying home worried about the children but a dark shadow appeared. When she was almost home, she met a hungry and scary tiger.
What’s in the basket?
said the tiger.
Oh! It’s cake.
Said the mum.
The tiger said, cake! I won’t eat you if you give me the cake.
When the mum gave a piece of cake, the tiger took and disappeared. While the mother going home, but the tiger keep asking for more, and finally ended up eating the mother, too. The tiger put on the mother’s clothes and went to the house. The children thought their mother was back and rushed to the gate.
Do you think something has happened to mother?
said the little sister.
Maybe… she’s really late
said the brother.
I’ll go check outside
said the little one.
No, don’t, don’t open the door. Mother said we shouldn’t open the door when it’s so late
said the big brother.
