When I first started researching to do this book, I had a different idea for it. I originally wanted to put together a specific travel guide and journal for visitors to New Orleans. I personally fell head over heels in love with the city many years ago. As far as I am concerned New Orleans will always be my home. New Orleans does something to your spirit and your soul. When you enter the city you simply change.
It always amazes me how much time I spend just walking and talking to people. Where else can you do that? New Orleans has brought so many amazing friends into my life. I have met people at bars, in restaurants, on the street, or simply in the ladies' room of The Swamp (my favorite bar).
