About this ebook
David Chick is the guy that many will recall making news headlines around the world when he dressed as Spiderman, and protested over children and fathers’ rights, for six days, on top of a crane by Tower Bridge, London. In another of his succession of protests, he scaled the London Eye, where he stayed for a duration of 18 hours.
This is the story of David’s 5-year journey, from when he and his daughter Lauryn, at ten months of age, were ripped from each other’s lives by an antiquated, unfit-for-purpose, biased and discriminatory 'family' law system - through to them getting back the unrestricted relationship they should have always had.
Also chronicled, is David’s countless battles with the establishment during these years, who because of his high-profile protests on this particular issue, tried to break and crush him at every opportunity with numerous malicious prosecutions - all of which resulted in not-guilty verdicts.
A most unique, extreme, and inspirational David and Goliath story of modern times.

Paul O’Grady - "I’m all for Spiderman. When I was in the social services for 10 years, they would often give the kids to the mum and in my opinion the mother was unfit”.
Sir Bob Geldof - “Why is the person who has taken the children suddenly given vast emotional, legal and financial power over the other party? Though having done no wrong, the father is semi-criminalised and punished by having his children removed from him. The children’s childhood is never recoverable”.
Sunday Express, Robert Kilroy-Silk - “Spiderman’s a hero to separated dads”.
The Daily Mirror - “Superhero to the dads denied kids”.
Daily Mail - “Spiderman a nuisance? No, he’s a national hero”.
