Hello, I'm Connor Whiteley, I am an 18-year-old who loves to write creatively, and I wrote my Brownsea trilogy when I was 14 years old after I went to Brownsea Island on a scout camp. I was invited to Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party and how some of us got in the royal photograph.Finally, I am going to university and I hope to get my doctorate in clinical psychology in a few years.

THE BLOODIED ROSE

Stepping out onto a large oval black stone floor, Alvis smiled as he stepped on the balcony. 

The late morning sun was high in the sky in front of Alvis. 

Its rays beating down upon him and warming up the stone. 

Despite Alvis wearing his ceremonial leather boots, he hissed as the hot stone pressed into his aged feet. 

Looking around, Alvis admired the small white pillars that formed the guard rail around the oval balcony. 

Although, Alvis wanted to spit at the stone statues of flayed bodies on the small pillars. 

Equally, Alvis was puzzled why there was a large rope tied to the guard rail to his right.

Did someone really want to climb down the balcony?

Alvis shrugged off the stupid idea.

The sweet smell of bread and cakes filled his nose. 

Alvis didn't need to move to be able to see the 'breath-taking' view of the city below. 

As far as he could see, Alvis saw immense spiral structure raise out of the earth with their black titled appearance. 

Alvis shook his head. 

He knew his Empress wouldn't have appreciated this place. 

That was probably why she had sent him to Gauic. 

Alvis shivered as a gust of cold wind blew past. 

His old bones ached at the gust of cold air. 

Alvis took a step closer to the guard rail. 

A part of him wondered why he had come here again. 

He remembered why he had left as the memories of his family and wife being hacked to pieces played across his mind.
