You might ask, if this book is so fundamental and important to understand how universe works, why it's only 50 pages? Because, bigger is not always better.

Thus, Earth has one fundamental problem - it's size. On the cosmic scale, it's a tiny dot - a pixel in the sheer vastness of space. Yet, it's big enough to prevent nations unification. Thus, smaller alien planets with much lesser gravity could be much more developed in lesser time than our Earth. First of all, lesser gravity means much smaller escape velocity and, therefore, allows easier and much cheaper space travel and expansion across their solar system and, ultimately, the galaxy. 

Second, and the most important, no ruler or group of people could conquer entire earth in it's history. Hitler's Third Reich managed to conquer only 0.7% of Earth. Napoleon did a little better and conquered 1.6% of the planet. Roman Empire also did not came close and conquered only 4% of known world. While Mongol and Russian empires did a little better and took control of 17% of earth

I accidentally found the authors YouTube channel yesterday and watched his videos for hours with fascination and an odd sense of an old familiarity and respect. One of the videos had a link to his book and I read it without stopping. I finished this book with a feeling of of being learned, and much gained. However I'm equally left with a feeling of needing to know more and so I'm about to read another one of his books.
