Notes
Chapter I
They left milonga discretely as usual. Nobody ever noticed they went out together. Wandering slowly through the side streets, choosing the longest possible way to a random tube station, they've been enjoying this little warm moments together without the crowded noise of the milonga. He loved to hold her hand and play with her little fingers. Talking about everything and nothing. Egyptian love poems, stars in the sky, ... She enjoyed dancing with him. His close tender embrace, the way he touched her tette in the turn. Adrián was a gentleman, under her complete control, totally wrapped around her little finger. Maybe that's what she liked the most about him.
The street was entirely empty. Only a tall woman walking slowly far away behind them. They got to their favourite dark spot in the street. No, Solea would not allow him to kiss her here. She did not trust him fully yet. Passionate kisses she kept all for her real love, she hoped one day it would come. But she enjoyed his closeness,
cuddling, a bit of innocent excitement in the dark. Adrián loved these moments when Solea was forgetting about the world with him. Caressing her, he was slowly moving his hands down. With closed eyes, like in dream thinking Ti voglio scopare, baby
. His hand was getting gently close to the full stretch.
At this moment, suddenly he felt strong arms on both his sides pulling him up and dropping him down at the hard pavement. Punched and pushed away, Solea fell down too. Paralised she watched the unfolding horror. In that moment, as from nowhere a black limo came silently by and two elegantly dressed thugs with ugly faces dragged Adrián towards its open trunk. With professional nonchalance they were just about to throw him in like a sack of dead potatoes, when suddenly a tall muscular Drag Queen dropped in into the party. With simultaneous left punch and right hand swing of her heavy handbag she knocked down both the perpetrators. The limo started moving and two gorillas run for safety withdrawing humbly from the fight. Taking off her high heells, the Queen gave a good chase down the street catching them at the turn, banging off the windscreen of the car with her heavy Gucci accessory. But the limo reached the main road, accelerated and vanished in the darkness. So did the Queen, her job was done for the night.
The street was calm again. Adrián was lying on the pavement, unconscious. Waking up from the state of paralising shock, Solea started crawling towards his body. Spotting a shine of a red puddle of blood around his head, she begun sobbing. Kissing his face, his lips, Solea whispered through the tears Adrián, Adrián...(sobbing) Adrián...(sobbing)...Come back to me
.
He was lying motionless. His heart was still warm, but soul already started wandering in a cold black fog around. That was a moment of uncertain eternity. He felt as floating in infinite space of the dark matter. Seemed to hear some whisper slowly flowing through the cosmos, or may be that just the intergalactic dust passing by ? But, then he got a strange feeling of being kissed. By an Angel ??? His heart started beating again. He was alive and he was in heaven. He was being kissed by Solea.
