    My pre-teen son says, Fun fact: I don't care. But he only says this because he's reading it.

    Well, and it's fun to say.

    This is written on the back of someone's cherry red F-five million or something as I'm on the way to the local grocery store. Some conglomerate-owned grocery store that only seems to exist in this part of the country and nowhere else.

    You know, like a Piggly Wiggly or a QFC.

    My son sits right next to me in our white two-seater sports car that my husband just had to have, despite the fact that it's falling apart.

    Falling apart might be a bit of a wishful thinking, though. There are parts of the door that rattle because it's started to pull away from the metal. The plastic-covered padded pieces that are supposed to be for comfort actually hurt when you lay your bare elbow on them.

    I know this because my son has red marks along the back of his arm that makes his teachers wonder if we're secretly abusing our boy.

    Yes, well, answer me this, I tell Bryan. If they don't care, then why are they proclaiming it to the world? Clearly they care enough to tell you they don't care.
