Masked! Darkness Falls

About this ebook
This book is sort of written like a preppers version of a school paper entitled “What Did You Do on Your COVID 19 Summer Vacation?” It provides an apocalyptic fiction author’s attempt to give his prepper perspective of the pandemic, quarantine, lock downs, stupid mask rules, power mad governors, and how this all ties into the strife America is facing and how he is preparing himself for it.
I often tell people I can’t take my brain out and put it on a table for you to play with, but in this “stream of thought” story, you will hopefully gain a lot of insights of a prepared mind puzzling through the ambiguity of living through 2020 and prepping for 2021. It's lighthearted, it's blatantly and unapologetically a bit self-promoting in a fun autobiographical way, and a bit political, but it’s a good book, well worth the listen and packed with knowledge that you can use to help yourself cope in everyday life or learn a survival skill to use in an emergency like all my books.

This book is sort of written like a preppers version of a school paper entitled what did you do on your Covid 19 summer vacation?
It provides an apocalyptic fiction author’s attempt to give his prepper perspective of the pandemic, quarantine, lock downs, stupid mask rules, power mad governors and how this all ties into the strife America is facing and how he is preparing himself for it.
I often tell people I can’t take my brain out and put it on a table for you to play with, but in this stream of thought
story you will hopefully gain a lot of insights of a prepared mind puzzling through the ambiguity of living through 2020 and prepping for 2021. It’s lighthearted, it’s blatantly and unapologetically a bit self-promoting in a fun autobiographical way, a bit political but it’s a good book, well worth the read and packed with knowledge that you can use to help yourself cope in everyday life or learn a survival skill to use in an emergency, like in all my books.
BIRD IS THE WORD!
Anyone remember that 1963 song by the Trash Men "Surfin' Bird containing the repetitive lyric
the bird is the word". It has been covered many times
Lyrics
A-well-a ev'rybody's heard about the bird
B-b-b-bird, b-birdd's a word
A-well, a bird, bird, bird, bird is a word
A-well, a bird, bird, bird, well-a bird is a word
In 2020, some of us feel like the word Mask
or masked could be substituted along with stupid for this repetitious song. Come along and let’s have fun singing it together because it is like hearing about the latest mask ordinances, but not as fun as listening to that odd pointless song. They want us to Wear a mask
that is useless and conform, the mantra sure does get stuck in our heads and becomes annoying

Living In 'The Long Emergency'
Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street and building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the party is always right.
...George Orwell...1984
Time to fight back. Buzzards need to eat.
Wyatt grumbled. There is an old Indian legend that says when all else is gone, still will remain the coyote. Wyatt didn’t like the sneaking, chicken menacing coyote critters much at all, matter of fact he did find it necessary to shoot a few over the years if they encroached on his property and didn’t move on. However, let it be known, he had more than a calculated respect for them deep down and if he was caught unarmed sighting one out in the woods, he actually possessed a guarded feral fear of them.
To be honest, it wasn’t so much because of their known viciousness that worried him or signaled danger to him when he encountered one. It was more the possible real threat that one just might be likely to carry the dreaded rabies disease that scared the bejezzus out of him.
This was particularly true if the critter didn’t high tail it and decide to run off at the first sight of a human. However, he had realized that he had an awful lot of things in common with one of them old dog tricksters and he was now resolutely comparing and identifying himself with this crafty canine breed and their resourcefulness to survive under all sorts of adversity.
Dangerous, adaptive and yet still devilishly smart enough in their cunning not to leave anything to chance. He, like these wild woodland and prairie skulking animals, would always try to end up being the ultimate survivor.
Coyotes stood out as the ultimate winner of these survivalist hunger games, though. They remained highly vigilant and wary enough to never lose an opportunity to eat if anyone let their guard down these days and managed to someway, somehow, always seem to be not the worse for wear and eating fairly regularly.
Anything less than a secure and well-guarded secured chicken coop left to chance was asking for trouble. A small domestic dog or cat a coyote found wandering in an accessible backyard was like a dinner bell going off and an easy kill for them. The predation of a poor Ewe sheep that had left the flock to have a lamb was easy enough game for a solitary hunter or a yip and a howl would round up the pack for assistance with taking down bigger prey.
Wild wolves and domestic shepherd dogs would try to kill Mr. Coyote and his kindred on sight without hesitation, but yet always his kin and kith forever would be fed and fit even in the food barren deserts of the apocalypse.
True primordial survivors they were, stalwart and diligent, either working in concert with a pack or hunting solitary without the support of one, they were a top of the food chain predator to be reckoned with as well as a very successful scavenger. They instinctively knew to beware of traps set and the hunting skills of the maybe sometimes smarter humans to try to ensnare them and they had mastered the ways of the capricious wild and could also easily find sustenance in city suburbs.
Strict avoidance of other predators was their key to lasting another day, sniffing the wind for man smell, the scent of farm dogs, poisonous snakes, big ass bears, sneaky alligators needing a snack when they came to the waterhole to drink, etc. The coyote’s ancestors had passed along all their prowess, proven game catching skills and alertness to danger warnings down to many generations for centuries to ensure that they as a viable species would always remain to hunt and howl.
Always an ever-watching opportunistic hunter or not too picky scavenger at heart, they still remained a top deadly predator all the same. This creature was one that always knew the ways of best fighting his enemies when push came to shove when cornered with savage teeth and claws along with unique coyote fighting tricks to win the day or escape or breakaway to run like hell and lick his wounds as the case may be.
However, unlike Mr. Coyote, if things got too dangerous or game got too scarce, Wyatt couldn’t just move on and find himself a new range. No, he was tied to his farmstead for the long run and his intent was to remain best he could.
Most everybody in the U.S. had finally managed somehow to figure out by now a few self-evident truths, an almost overwhelming universal conclusion to Get Ready
that became even more poignant under the stressful conditions of this alleged or real pandemic. They had eventually concluded after much instinctive thought that something bigger and worse was still coming. They all knew by now that not being prepared for a known or an unknown calamity was no longer an option.
They had to start getting ready for something big and disastrous to happen. It had been five long confusing months since the current version of the Chinese Wuhan virus had hit and the world just seemed to be getting a little more topsy- turvy by the moment.
Most people were just more than mildly confused about what tomorrow might bring and they became worried more and more about what the future might bring. They definitely were not prepared to begin with Chinese viruses or burning riotous cities. It was perplexing to now have to further prepare for and expect for much more of anything it seemed beyond. Matter of fact, for many it was beyond overwhelming. Things seem to be getting darker by the minute with no stop in sight.
A confluence of current and evolving threats and crises were ominously occurring worldwide now. Death was ever so slowly sharpening his scythe it appeared for a monumental harvest as the various political and financial criminals added to the chaos and arose from the shadows to fight the light of day and try to avoid the scales of justice.
The bloated minions of the corrupt and evil deep state were panicked enough to be now driven to the forefront and into the public’s eye. However, these swamp creatures still had plenty of nasty tricks and what was worse, they publicly felt somewhat secure under the umbrella of a failing deep state controlled mainstream psyop media aiding and abetting their horrific misdeeds and inspiring more stupidity.
Forcing the evil of the world out of the darkness would have its own unforeseen consequences though, no telling what new shockwave of false flag attacks on society they were up to or when they would occur as their desperation increased. They were literally fighting for their lives and parties as well as their putrid old-world orders’ existence. Symbolism will be their down fall, craziness was the norm as the luciferians planned their own nationwide marches with Lord knows what twisted and manipulated causes, they would use to promote their corrupt agendas.
People’s lives as a whole had dramatically changed for the worse since the Wuhan hoax. This was mostly from a litany of all sorts of increasing pressures of constant mental, physical and economic stressors due to the pandemic lockdowns and government pushes for their citizens to conform one way or another. The people living the lie now as a nation had their own firsthand experience with a whole lot of unwanted feelings about themselves and their families having to do without or tolerate totalitarian socialist movements over many months now.
The preppers themselves were okay, but they had more than just mixed emotions about what was next after surviving thus far with their preps through what some were calling, or dismissively considered, nothing more than a dry run to a bigger more deadly event happening in the near future. They questioned and pondered regularly how the future would unfold and how prepared they were for this shit hit the fan lite event in the beginning that seemed now to be one hell of still constantly evolving and ever-changing momentous event.
The alternative and mainstream media had one consensus. They daily predicted upcoming shortages of food and goods for one reason or another; they spoke of increased social unrest accompanied with looting and more rioting no matter what. Conspiracy or not, a variety of new false flags for both the short and long-term were almost guaranteed to continue to occur. That these increased attacks on humanity would influence the economy adversely and even more dangerous threats were likely coming as well, was an accepted forgone conclusion by now. Question was, what will it be?
Preppers were ultimately vindicated for all their previous time spent studying disasters and costly preparedness efforts performed to date. They had finally been able to lose their sheeple disdain stigma status as this group of the uninformed and unaware scrambled furiously if they had any sense now to put a little something back. Most of the younger generations though were still living in La La land not doing anything and the gangsta types were still causing fights and scenes if McDonalds ran out of chicken sandwiches or an employee got an order wrong that sent them into a mindless rage the dumbasses had to phone video themselves doing.
The preppers were now much more understood as a preparedness community and better regarded for their wise prior planning for just putting food and paper goods back over their previous alleged former Hollywood hyped reputation as doomsday gun nut preppers hiding in bunkers.
You could say that today, the wise were prevailing and that they were even envied by many people somewhat jealously for their forward-thinking survivalist mindsets to have been previously prepared for this pandemic by a large majority of people at all levels of society.
It was finally considered and came to pass as an auspicious norm that the preparedness community in getting themselves more greatly prepared and self-reliant than others for come what may in the future, was the smartest thing anyone could have been doing as a hobby for the last several years.
People were finally becoming more self-aware and were paying more attention to the world’s dire warnings of upcoming societal unrest and possible food shortages impacting their households. They began to seek out for themselves the wisdom of the preppers and soon found out that Lefties weren’t welcome in
