Foreword

Man has always the tendency to set aside knowledge like a   book left on the shelf. We know that the application of knowledge is wisdom. But how much of this knowledge is   applied in everyday life? Not all people are scientists, physicists   or cosmologists. But all of us must have a world view based on the collection of perceptions we have gathered from birth and   have given much focus. Therefore, all of us are cosmologists in as much as we are existing on this planet, being constantly confronted by objective reality. Do not say that Cosmology is impractical. When troubles come, we grope for explanations. We realized how scarce the vital information we badly need in order for us to explain or to understand painful incidences that overwhelm us. Such understanding explains away unnecessary torment caused by inflated imagination.

It will surprise you to discover that our understanding of the universe shaped our convictions to stay alive, to stay strong and stable, to remain hopeful in desperate moments and be prosperous in life. It will surprise you how much of your present understanding of the universe directly affect your attitude towards your environment, your problems, your physical wellbeing, your relationships, your mental health and your creativity in technological advancement. Technological advancement is obviously the outcome of Applied Cosmology because it is the necessary end of knowledge. But in this book, we need to see a much bigger picture than mere multiplication of innovations, inventions and explorations. Without the complete perspective, it will be our own technology that would enslave us, turn us into monsters and ultimately annihilate us.
