Kari Lemor

Kari Lemor has always been a voracious reader. One of those kids who had the book under the covers or under the desk at school. Even now she has been known to stay up until the wee hours finishing a good book. Romance has always been her favorite, stories of people fighting through conflict to reach their happily ever after. Writing wasn't something she enjoyed when young and only in the last few years began putting the stories that ran rampant in her head, down on paper. Now that her kids are all grown and have moved out, she uses her spare time to create character driven stories of love and hope. She spends her time with her husband divided between a small town in New England and beautiful St. Augustine.

They turned to wait for the other four people who had come with them today to Canobie Lake Park. A group of neighborhood friends, all home for a thirtieth wedding anniversary, had decided to spend some time together and had chosen the amusement park. Just like old times. Julie smiled, it was great to be with these friends again. Two years working in Boston, after her graduation from UNH, had made keeping in touch harder.

What should we go on first? Cathy Belmont chirped as she came up beside Mark and Julie. Gary Stark sauntered up behind her and tousled her spiky, blonde locks. Cathy responded by sticking her newly pierced tongue out at him. She’d been doing that since they were four years old. Some things never changed.

But many things did, Julie thought, as she watched Sue Shepard and Zack Anders move slowly toward them. Their arms were around each other and every now and then, they’d stop to give the other a tiny kiss. Julie laughed. Sue and Zack had hated
