The third world war devastated the global economy, financial markets collapsed as countries were erased from the face of this earth. Iran had unleashed dozens of nuclear warheads on the state of Israel as the birthplace of the human race was reduced to rubble as it had been when civilization began over five thousand years ago. North Korea invaded South Korea on the southern border the thirty-eighth parallel and invaded China on the northern border, causing the asian countries to unleash it’s nuclear arsenal on each other devastating the natural landscape. India and Pakistan began to invade one another unleashing their weapons of Mass destruction as the world began to take the predestined apocalyptic form that many astrologists had predicted for years.

How did this all begin it began as the Great Depression had begun - speculation. The New York Times had released an article in their periodical that reported Israel was planning a coup de tat of Iran, they were fed up with the growing threats that Ahmad Ahmadinigad possessed a nuclear arsenal and was worried that if action had not been taken, they would be left without any options but to defend themselves against foreign aggressors, and in Israel’s case the best defense is an aggressive offense. North Korea had been in communication with Iran and had collaborated a joint attack on both Israel, South Korea and China; India and Pakistan would use any excuse to escalate their military involvement to nuclear warfare and did so in the wake of this global catastrophe. Africa, Australia, South America, and Europe all were caught in civil unrest that created violent revolutions of proletariats lashing out against government agencies.

Embassy’s were bombarded and civil servants were executed as though they were criminals contributing to organized crime. Protests amassed in the United States as Marshall law was put into practice, citizens were no longer citizens but prisoners held within the confines of a domestic conclave of totalitarian order. Freedoms no longer existed anywhere in the world, in the United States the Constitution written by the four fathers and founders of this great nation was null and void to the new world order which had taken it’s place. Commerce no longer existed, religious institutions were abandoned as religion became outlawed, College campuses were shut down and converted into laboratories where lethal weapons - that could eradicate a village of people - were being produced to defend the great United States against it’s enemies.

Death camps were created to eliminate non conformists and reduce the population in size since three hundred and fifty million people could not be fed, clothed and provided for, the government had to rid itself of sixty percent of the population. One thing survived through all of this chaos a group of men that had existed for thousands of years who were the foundation of this country, the builders of this country’s infrastructure. The inventors, the innovators, the movers and shakers, the men who built America, the Freemasons.

Freemasonry began hundreds of years ago in Europe during the Middle Ages. No one knows exactly when the fraternity was founded, but evidence points to operative stone masons who organized to form a tight nit union between fellow constructors, bonding working men together to create a brotherhood of likeminded individuals. Freemasonry then grew to accept lay men into the fraternity as the popularity of the masons became more widely profound. The first Grand Lodge was formed in England in 1717 and spread throughout Europe and eventually to the new Colonies of the America’s.

Freemasons were the heart and foundation of the American Revolutionary War. George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Paul Revere were all members of the ever growing fellowship of men throughout the world. The first Grand Lodge of the state of New York was established in 1787, in the heart of the ever growing city of new york on the Island of Manhattan originally bartered from the Arakapow Native Americans in 1642 by Peter Minuet for the value of twenty four dollars worth of trading goods which included furs, spices, tobacco, coffee beans, rifles and muskets. Several presidents had been dually initiated Masons, Entrepreneurs such as Henry Ford and Jacob Astor joined the mysterious fraternity which taught it’s followers tolerance and acceptance of all things living from humans to creatures that had existed millions of years before a warm blooded human being walked the ground of this ever so mystical planet we call earth.

Freemasonry became overtly popular as time elapsed until modern culture in the twenty first century became ignorant to the purpose of the union, magazines and publications deemed the fraternity a secret society which is far from what Masonry represented. The fellowship began to trickle down to staggering numbers, Lodges had trouble covering the essentials of water, electricity, and heat, prestigious men who had promoted their involvement distanced themselves from the fraternity. Then the war came about, the government felt threatened by organized institutions, and outlawed the existence of fraternities altogether.

The only organization one could belong to was the American government, any other would pose a threat to national security. Lodges still met in secret and the message of Freemasonry changed to oppose the Government and what they stood for organizing revolutionary acts that would weaken the core of the largest criminal organization - the United States of America. I belonged to the Grand Lodge of New York, we met several times a week. Our lodge was converted into a fortress to protect it’s members from the violent tactical forces that enforced the Marshal law practices our country had adopted.

I had put on my suit and tie with a round circular pin above my left breast furnished with the sacred square and compass encapsulating the letter G which held different meanings to different people, in masonry G stood for God as all free and accepted men must believe in a supreme being and submit themselves to the grand and mystical workings of almighty god. Today was our last meeting before we would carry out an attack on one of the Government’s outposts, we had weapons and explosives stashed at the lodge, I never thought that our fraternity would be forced to resort to violence in order to take a stance against our government, Freemasons were always supporters of non-violent protests, and were major proponents of the Civil Rights Movement in the late nineteen sixties.

Times have changed and violence was the only option left if we wanted to be free of intolerance from the totalitarian policies of the new world order. I had left my apartment tidy and clean just in case I was caught in the act of violating the new curfew restrictions applied after one of our brothers was caught attempting to set off explosives during a military exercise. The streets were dangerous, if one was caught out and about at any point during the curfew - which was twenty three hours a day and restricted citizens to only one hour outside of their residences - their existence would be demeaned to hard labour and incarceration.

I walked past the decrepit monuments we once called places of business, the restaurants, hotels, bars, and clubs. Ninety-nine percent of New York City was abandoned but we the lucky few who had been protected by god stood strong in the face of this tyrannical crusade taking place in our own backyard. The Grand Lodge was down on Twenty Third Street between fifth and sixth avenue, I was almost there a mere couple blocks away. I heard a rumbling in the distance the sound of rubber crashing against the hard concrete of the street. I paused and stood still trying to figure out what this mysterious sound was, it couldn’t have been any civilian vehicles, since the curfew would have restricted there use of such vehicles. I looked to my left - saw nothing - I looked to my right - nothing. I looked backwards at my six, nothing. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the greenish grayish fatigue of a military convoy slowly creeping down the road toward me.

The vehicle was transferring soldiers from the tightly knit infrastructure of the city to the sprawling vast wilderness of upstate New York. My mind froze in the heat of the moment, I looked around quickly for some trash cans or something I could hide behind. I saw an old bodega that in its time serviced New Yorkers with cigarettes and beer, lotto tickets and fresh fruit. The facade was protected by a metal gate safeguarding the glass front of the store from vandals, street artists and burglars. I walked up to the gate reached down to the bottom and pulled upwards to fit my body in the
