About this ebook

This book is like a puzzle. At first, it looks like the chapters are not connected to each other and nothing makes sense. But as you keep reading it, it’s like pieces start connecting together and it becomes more and more clear. And if you read the book a second time, you can find even more pieces, you’ve missed. You can see that there were clues all over the place, but you were too impatient, too much in a hurry to know what’s going to happen, to actually see the things right in front of you.
This book is a mystery. And an incredible journey. Take it from me, I’m surprised by the things I find every time I’m reading it and I wrote the book!

    Introduction

Nothing in this life lasts forever. Everything is temporary. Leaves that used to make us smile in the spring will soon fall down and we will forget that once, maybe long or maybe not a long time ago, we used to be happy. But this story isn’t about what makes us sad. Because the winter will pass and we will see those spring leaves come alive again. And we will smile again. Just like we did many many times before. And we will fall in love like before. And every single fall will feel different. Not like the one before, though it will hurt just as bad. But what do we know? Maybe with every single fall we come closer to that true, pure feeling. Maybe with each step we take we come closer to being happy. Maybe, just maybe. But that one word maybe gives us hope. But it doesn’t matter. Because this story isn’t about hope. But then again, what is it about? Guess we’ll have to figure it out together.

    Chapter 2.

I know I’m hard to love and I’m all broken inside, but I promise you, I’m loving you with everything I am. I’m loving you with all my pieces

Romantic, isn’t it? The way you wish someone came to you, took you by the hand and looked you in the eyes and said something like this. But in reality you’d think it’s stupid. Because romance is stupid. You think that it’s romantic when a guy brings you flowers or when he takes you for dinner to a fancy restaurant, when he says you something you only hear in movies, when he takes you for a walk on a beach, when he sings your favourite song to you. You think it’s romantic when she runs her fingers through your hair and says that she couldn’t live without you, when she stays up late just to watch your favourite movie with you even though she hates it...now you think that I’m wrong because I made an impression that I don’t think those things are romantic. But the only thing that’s wrong here, and not only here but everywhere, is impression. Yes, first impression appears to be important as we start to judge a person from the second we see him. See, now we’re starting to get closer to the problem here. Judging is wrong and we know it. But it is also an instinct we all have. We scan a new object that suddenly appeared in our orbit of vision to see if that object can do us any harm. We are protecting ourselves. And now you probably made the wrong impression again. This time I guess you thought I said that judging people was okay, that it was acceptable. But it isn’t. Don’t trust the first impression you make about person because it might fool you just like this one thought in the middle of the night.

    Chapter 3.

It’s chapter 3 and I already have no idea where this story is going and what this book is even about, but oh well, we’ll find out eventually. This brings me back to my late night thoughts. Where are we going in our life? Do we have some path or something we must follow? Or are we’re sent here just to struggle, to wander around and stumble on our lives? why are we even here? Who are we? Those are the questions we could talk and talk and talk about. Once I heard a theory that we might be the aliens from Mars we were looking for so long. Because, according to theory, humans first appeared in Earth when the comet, that made all of the dinosaurs go extinct, hit. Another theory says that this comet, this meteor might be a piece of rock from Mars. So basically, if we connect these two theories together, it appears that we, human race, simply rode a comet from Mars to the Earth. And we dare to complain that we can’t breathe in outer space or open a simple jar. Everything around us seems so simple when you start thinking about it this way huh? Now I’ll leave you to think about those things all alone. Because thinking while alone lets you wander far far away and if we would think about it all together, some of you might be left unheard and we don’t want that to happen, do we? So just think about it before you go on to the next chapter which might give you another thoughts that wouldn’t let you sleep at night.

    Chapter 4.

It’s weird how a girl, who is so afraid
