Citadel Society 4: The Titan, The Eye and the Sky
By Joel Armour
Introduction
This story takes place after the events of Citadel Society 3: The Manufactured Organic. There are some references to it in the book so a reader that is not familiar with that book might not understand the references; although I did build a slight background explanation. All in all, I’d say reading the third book at least would definitely help in reading this one. That being said, this is a brand new story and one I wrote to be a huge sci-fi, action movie and videogame. More is to come soon...
Chapter 1: Humanity United
Space Colony: 2577. Three hundred years into the future.
It’s been over five hundred years since the first officers of the Humanitarian Mission
launched into space. Humanitarian Mission was a discovery peacekeeping regiment led by the most decorated officer, Ulysses Clarin. This unit made the way for Humanity United
; the first ever human space colony. Humanity United
housed two million humans; most of whom were refugees and found themselves without a country or exiled from their religious settlement. These people didn’t have the means to join the expensive alternative private programs and so they voluntarily joined Humanity United.
Four hundred years later, the population of Humanity United had grown to three billion. Faced with extreme poverty, lack of resources and attempted mutiny coups from the unruly population; Humanity United now sets its sights on planet E-203.
This planet is four times the size of earth! It will be perfect for replenishing resources!
The dashboard of the ship pinpointed a warp highway just outside of the planet. There seems to be a Torus loop warp gate Sir. A time jump highway,
the first officer commented.
General Decimus Clarin grinned. They’ve just sealed their fate. We’ll send an initial attack to test out their defenses, then we’ll use the Torus loop to find a time when they were defenseless.
Decimus was beside himself with amusement, Send in a fleet of one thousand attack drones.
Yes Sir!
Screams of the one thousand drone missiles tore through pink and yellow clouds on planet E-203. The Omni humans watched on from the surface. This is it everyone!
shouted Krema, Just as the Skyfather predicted! Fire up the Üni Eye!
Across the universe orbs appeared collecting ionic energy. Everyone’s eye
