About this ebook
Bailey and Quinn are back for one last action-filled adventure!
A corrupt police chief is on the loose, and it falls to Bailey and Quinn to put an end to him before he finds some way to weaponize the spreading rabies virus, create yet another batch of potent gorgon dust, and otherwise wreck Bailey's happily ever after.
With a pair of orphaned gorgon whelps to care for, more animals she can shake a stick at, and her husband's determination to make the world a perfect place for her, Bailey has her hands full. To protect everyone she loves, she must embrace her dubious role as the Calamity Queen and rain hell down on those who stand in her way.
The Flame Game is on.

Reviews for The Flame Game

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Fun. I do like Bailey and Sam. Things continue - this starts essentially immediately after Burn Baby Burn, with their (full, family-attended) wedding. Bailey suffers her usual low-self-esteem problems, but her father and Sam pretty much ignoring them seems to have helped her a lot. Then Bailey and Sam go off on a honeymoon of sorts - being them, while there's a lot of bed sports (though nothing at all explicit), they're also investigating the whole gorgon-dust and rabies mess. They backtrack Sam's ex...and discover some really nasty messes she left. But the discoveries let them tie Morrison into the whole thing, so they confront him - and that's the end of him. Some very interesting new characters - I'm really wondering what the wolf is. And the sentient mice are going to be...something. Their family keeps growing - not the twins, not yet. Others. Fun story, great characters at all levels, and probably some things that fit into the overall arc of the series - but that's not the point, it's their story. And the last one, the author says, though they may show up in others' stories.
