About the AuthorSri Dharam Vir Mangla, M.Sc. M.Ed. PGDCA got his master’s degrees from university of Delhi. Since his birth he had scientific bent of mind. He joined his Ph.D. in Mathematics at Delhi University in 1969. Since his childhood he used to study the religious books. He used to discuss about God, Scripture and the science with saints and learned people. In 1969 a divine miracle of Sri Sathya Sai Baba transformed his soul, life, philosophy and thinking. He became a perfect theist with a firm faith and conviction in God. He totally surrendered himself to God. After that he was fully interested in knowing and seeking God. He devoted all his energies in the pursuit of God, spiritual studies and yoga practices. During 1976-78 he served as lecturer in Mathematics at University of Aden. Since 1996 he worked as the Principal in Delhi.The Yogoda Satsanga Society (YSS) initiated him in ‘Kriya Yoga’. He is a scholar of Science, Mathematics, Education and Philosophy and has the ability to correlate Sciences, Scriptures, and God. This book is based upon his vast yogic experience and studies He learnt meditation from various saints in Himalayas and YSS. This book is useful to all categories of men: believers, non-believers and the wavering minds about God. Sh. Dharam Vir Mangla, M.Sc. M.Ed. PGDCA, is retired Principal got his master’s degrees from University of Delhi. He is religious and extraordinary combination of spiritual and scientific bent of mind. He is practicing ‘Kriya Yoga’ since 1969 & has opportunity of the company and blessings of great saints. He has devoted his life in the pursuit of God, spiritual studies and yoga. He served as lecturer in Mathematics at University of Aden and worked as Principal in Delhi.

He is a scholar of Scriptures, Science, Mathematics, Education and Philosophy. He has the ability to correlate Sciences, Shastras, Spiritual Science and God. Lord Krishna Geeta Discourse to Arjuna

Nearly 5250 years ago, just before the Mahabharata War at Kurukshetra in India, the Lord Krishna bestowed His divine discourse of Bhagwad Gita to motivate and uplift the depressed Arjuna. This discourse is the best Scripture, which is outcome of the various spiritual questions asked by Arjuna and answered by the God Himself for the benefit of the whole humanity. The spiritualism or yoga is the science of seeking God. It is as much scientific and logical as the Sciences and Mathematics. Still there is no book, which can help us in understanding these in a logical, scientific and easy way. There should not be any ambiguity in our thinking and philosophy in understanding and answering of our spiritual questions. The answers to spiritual questions should not vary from time to time according to your changing mood, thinking, liking or disliking.

Bhagwad Gita the great masterpiece, which has come directly from Lord Krishna. It is a collection of the answers given by the Lord Himself, asked by His confused disciple Arjuna. If Arjuna had not asked the intelligent spiritual questions to the Lord, the secrets of God (Bhagwad Gita) might have not bestowed to humanity. This book is also based upon the idea of raising puzzling spiritual questions to the readers to answer and justify its correctness given by the author, which are based upon his vast yogic experience and studies.

There is an utter need of designing the multiple-choice spiritual question, which can help the readers in enhancing the spiritual knowledge faster in a scientific way. All the questions has been selected and designed in a way that the readers will start rethinking automatically in a correct way. The readers will be enlightened and convinced that the sciences and spiritualism are in consonance with each other without any contradiction.

The comments on the answers to the spiritual questions at the end of each chapter are based on my personal opinions, inner yogic experiences and vast scientific learning. The answers to most of the puzzling questions have been revealed to me during deep meditation. In such revelation there remains no doubt. All the religions are equally respectable and honorable to me. Still the readers are free to accept or reject the views expressed in this book. Nobody can be forced to accept or reject one’s spiritual views and opinions and one should avoid the controversy if any as it is a matter of faith. Basically the aim is to understand God better rather than to criticize others. Our opinions may differ.

Basically, I have a perfect faith in God, soul and the Scriptures. I am concerned with the religions only to the extent of their philosophical differences and not about the differences in their traditions, customs and religious practices etc. My aim to write this book will be fulfilled, if the Buddhists, Zen & Jains also accept their firm faith in God, soul and the Scriptures, even if their founders might have discarded these due to some reason.

This book has been written with the aim to serve the humanity and to understand the practice of yoga and spiritualism better, and not to criticize or downgrade anyone. The readers are the best judges to decide the truth themselves. I have tried my best not to twist any spiritual, philosophical, scientific and historical fact to please or displease anybody. Truth should never be twisted to please anybody and the readers should be free to think and decide.

I have the blessings of the great saints like Sri Amar Jyoti Babaji, Sri Mahavtar Babaji and Sri Sathya Sai Baba. I have been brought up in a spiritual family environment. The western authors are generally deprived of such opportunity.

This spiritual test not only measures your spiritual achievement in a scientific way, but also guides you for higher spiritual learning step by step. It is important to know why you are correct or wrong in your thinking. This test works as your self-guru in finding out your misconceptions and guides you in your spiritual journey. The questions are framed in such a way that you will correct & progress in your spiritual learning gradually.

This test saves your precious time, which is generally spent in meeting and consultation with a guru. Most of the times, gurus may be busy and unable to listen & answer your spiritual queries. Most of the gurus are neither highly educated nor have advanced scientific knowledge to answer your queries correctly.

As our scientific knowledge is advancing and becoming high-tech, it is becoming beyond the comprehension of ordinary gurus to understand & answer your questions correctly. Sciences and spiritualism must go together in consonance without any contradiction & conflict. Spiritualism must support our scientific knowledge and vice-versa. Ordinary Gurus are generally known as Katha-Vachak. They learn the art to narrate the interesting stories (Kathas) from the Scriptures with a classical music and songs (Bhajans), which they have learnt from their parents from generation to generation, as family tradition. It is also their source of income, livelihood and respect.

This test is purely philosophical, logical and spiritual and not confined to any particular religion. But a spiritualist must believe in the universal Sprit (God) & the individual spirit Jivatma and also the prehistoric Scriptures bestowed from God to the humanity for its harmonic development. Scriptures are not the monopoly of any particular religion, but belongs to all the religions and seekers of God equally. Without the knowledge and firm faith in Scriptures there can’t be any spiritual development. Scriptures have been directly bestowed from God through the great seers like Ved-Vyas, Valmik and Tulsi etc. Ordinary human mind can’t write the Scriptures. These are transferred directly to Author by God.

Your answer should be based upon your studies, convictions, beliefs and faith; and not simply by guessing. If you do not know the answer or have some doubts, you may consult any reliable good knowledgeable person or source and take as much time as you like.
