~~~~~~~~~~~O~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ancona. The romantic Southern Italy.
He was in Civitanova and had to take a train back to Milan. Unfortunately, his host in the confusion of departure with samples put him on the train going away from Milan. Once settled in he realized that the train was travelling in the wrong direction. He called his host and explained the predicament. Although Dr. Regolo was apologetic he could nothing about it. The train was a Rapido and only stopped at selected stations. He Suggested that Mylan should get down at Ancona and then either fly out or take the train to Milan the next day. There was no alternative and Mylan had never been on this track before.
It took another 90 minutes before the train pulled into Ancona. With all the samples and baggage, he dragged himself to the Hotel nearby which was located on a hill overlooking the Ancona harbor. It was in the 70’s and Mylan was clueless as to the hotel owner, if he would speak English.
Mister this is a Port town and one has to know English to cater to all the foreigners.
It was the only silver lining of this adventure Mylan thought. He requested a room with a bayside view. Being winter, the hotel was sparsely occupied, so he got a nice room with a large window. There was nothing to do so he thought he would have a quick meal and drown his miseries at the inhouse bar. After a shower, he went out to the restaurant and had a meal of soup and Veal cutlets. Surprisingly, it was delicious.
He crawled his way out for signs of the Bar and discovered it was in one corner of the Lobby. It was not very crowded, except for some Swedish and Portuguese sailors. The first drink calmed his nerves and he discovered a lady sipping her drink all alone on the further corner. With the spirits high he greeted her on the bar to which surprisingly, she responded. After the next whisky he walked up to her, not sure whether she would converse in English.
Hello, can I join you?
Sure.
That was encouraging, so he ordered a round of her Vodka and his whisky.
It doesn’t seem so busy here just now.
Yes, being winter we do not get many visitors. It is only in summer that we are crowded with tourists and ship crews.
They made light conversation and he assumed that either she was bored or possible a lady of the night. It was inconsequential. He was down and out and she was company. Her name was Gabriella and she was from Argentine; an amply endowed lady with an attractive smile. One thing led to another and he asked
do you think we could move to my room and drink there. It would be more comfortable
.
And why not, as is the bar will close any minute now.
She was quite familiar with the hotel and once he told her his room number, she led the way. Mylan was over the moon, and once inside the room, and their coats discarded, He held her close and kissed her. The response was spontaneous.
Mylan loved her like a Goddess. He unpeeled her clothes and kissed her all over till he reached her vulva, which he manipulated with his tongue. Gabby was pleasantly surprised and with stifled moans thrashed about till she came. It was the right time to mount her. Mylan made passionate love to her, draining the frustrations of the past few weeks. Exhausted, they drowsed for an hour or two and then Gabby took the lead. Eat him till he was sprouted and ready and then climbed on him rode him to a mind and gut blowing sex. Later they had a gentler, love dominated spell.
I must leave now; I stay quite close by. If I don’t, we will not sleep and you have an early train to catch.
She dressed and with a gentle kiss left.
The train was at 6.30 in the morning. Completely drained out he slept for a while got up at 5.00, had a shower, checked out and walked to the station. On his long journey he slept most of the way unaware of the breakfast and lunch trolleys. Once in Milan, he took a taxi to the hotel and after a quick meal went off to sleep. Next day was departure in the afternoon. Once he was ready, he went down for breakfast, rang up Dr Regolo thanked him for all the help extended before leaving for the Airport. It was a long haul to India, changing flights at Frankfurt.
Everlasting taste of the Portuguese Port Wine
Mylan was working in Denmark with a shoe company which also had a manufacturing unit in Portugal. The flight he had to take was to Porto, the home of the renowned Port Wine. On a weekend from work in Espino, Mylan with one of the Managers, Rasmussen decided to go to Porto for a drink. He had been warned of Rasmussen’s drinking. Basically, he was an Alcoholic and once he started binging, it is the end of the evening and a bother for all accompanying him.
They went to the caves where the Port Wine is cured. It was antiquated with an Old Port ambience, a Pirate Haunt. Some of the restaurants were located in overhanging sections of the caves where the Port was cured. Very romantic and in the evenings some of them had musicians playing Mandolin and Violin to add to the mood. They had a meal and tasted some of the Wine. This was followed by a visit to the Port Wine Museum, located on a hill overlooking the old port. It had a selection of Port of many colors and once you had paid the entrance the tasting was free. It turned out to be a Paradise for Tommy. Our friend started consuming larger portions of it.
Mylan felt that Rasmussen was slipping
