Nazis, Holocaust, and Self-Love: Unbridled Bigotry

About this ebook
History has a way of repeating itself when the past is ignored or forgotten. This book's intention is to convey that hate and bigotry is caused by an unhealthy self-love leading to malevolent consequences. With the rise of bigotry in our country, I believe we as human beings must take a closer look at what is happening around us. It's time to awaken out of our slumber before our rights and freedoms are nonexistent.
Socialism is on the rise by governmental officials pushing its agenda. Socialism results in silencing the voice of "we the people" and only the government will have a voice. Capitalism (a political system where trade and industry is controlled for profit by private owners, not the government) will be destroyed, the government will control everything, and the American Dream will become fictional.
Christians and patriots, if you thought the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions were challenging, it was only a taste of the nightmare of freedoms and liberty lost under socialism/communism.

This book is dedicated to my Lord Jesus Christ to whom I am eternally grateful.
I am deeply indebted to Paul, my husband, who has encouraged and supported me in my writing endeavor. My daughter, Dawn, who has been an incredible help in freeing me up to write, and Mike and Susanna for their continued help and prayers.
I would also like to mention my daughter Christina and my grandsons, Andrew, Matthew, and Joshua, and my son PJ and my granddaughter, Kierra. Also, to those who have gone before me (Mom, Carol, Frank, Raymond, Sarah, etc.) what a glorious reunion day is ahead.
I give special thanks to Wipf and Stock Publishers for the phenomenal help in bringing my dream to be an author to fruition. Heartfelt thanks to Matthew Wimer, George Callihan, Shannon Carter, and Savanah Landerholm to whom words cannot express my gratitude.
Brotherhood
Before calm can grace the world,Unity must be our foundation;Separation through strife breeds like cancer,And the core of brotherhood is overthrown.
Mankind’s the highest of earth’s creation,Yet discord condescends to the base;Diversity is part of human complexity,Commending man’s uniqueness.
Male and female constitute society,The color of skin is outward;Humanity is not according to race,For all are made of flesh and blood.
We must rise up in one accord,And conquer the foe of hate and prejudice;Permit all to express their opinion,Not in hostility, but as comrades.

Introduction
Although this book reveals Nazism and the Holocaust that came about in World War II, it’s meant as a foundation to illuminate what is happening today. There is a need for blinders to fall off and truth to be seen. We must be aware of the evil that’s transpiring in our own country and the world. But first, we must ask ourselves, How does such evil come about? How did the Holocaust come about?
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come, For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God (

While we must love ourselves to take care of our well-being, it must not be a self-love that is concerned only about our pleasures, wants, or desires to the neglect of others.
Let me explain what the self-love in the scripture above is referring to. That sort of lover of self is the root of the selfishness that brought about the holocaust and the evil that pursued. It’s the self-absorbed, egotistical, self-obsessed type of loving self that disregards others.
When the love of self becomes self-centered, desires an excessive need for admiration, disregards the feelings of others, is unable to handle any criticism, and demands privilege, that’s when it becomes selfishness. It is no longer a Biblical love of self (Matthew 22:39).
The lover of self that produces perilous times is when we are self-centered, self-obsessed, or preoccupied with self. It’s being concerned excessively or exclusively for oneself or one’s own advantage, pleasure, or welfare. When we are self-focused,
