      I've received a ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.The Blackshaw and Harrison clan have a old family rivalry that hasn’t settled even into Nash and Megan adulthood. Despite the tension, there has always been a connection between the two, and from early on, the chase began. The chemistry between the two characters are off the charts and when one intimate night changes their lives forever, they join together to help their families push aside their differences to become one. But that itself has become a challenge when Megan’s father and Nash have difficulty putting aside their past differences especially when things starts becoming wary on the Blackshaw land.After the overall read, surprisingly, I was blown away by this novel. I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with cowboy romance novels but right off the bat the chemistry between the characters was mucho caliente, the likability of the leads was there, the pace was steady and the overall content was enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to readers who are looking for a heartwarming cowboy romance that will surely leave you swooning for more.

      GOODNESS, TALKING ABOUT HOT!! I truly felt bad for Emma's plight in loving Jake, her boss, and coworkers whispering that she got her promotion while sleeping with her boss. Once he did not take up for her with HIS boss, she quit they very job that she had worked hard for! It was when she needed his comfort as her grams had died. Emma had inherited a hundred year old farm that her Gram's had taken in as the animals who were abused. I could almost see Shep Blackshaw had his eye on a pretty little bartender and he meant to have her for his own, he was sick of playing around and once the owner called for "roping em up" he roped the little filly, but she had come to heal her heart from New York when her man had disappointed her.

      Dirty Talking Cowboy by Stacey KennedyKinky Spurs #1Fanning myself here…Shep Blackshaw is one HOT fella that had my glasses steaming up as I read. He was just what Emma Monroe needed from beginning to end. I think he was drawn to her because he knew she needed him and what he could provide…after all she was a bit broken and he did have a way with animals that had been broken and needed some TLC to move forward and heal. Emma left New York, her prestigious job and family behind when her life imploded. Luckily she had her grandmother’s farm/ranch for abused animals to take up the slack and a part-time job at Kinky Spurs to help support herself. What she was not in the market for was a man…well…until she was lassoed by Shep ;) She still remained iffy for quite a bit of the book but when things were right…they were very right. AND, her input on the Blackshaw family dilemma may just save the day. Guess I need to read the rest of the books in the series to make sure. This is the first book I have read by this author but I can honestly say I am eager to read the rest in this series as they come out and also others that she has written or will write in the future.       A steamy new romance series from Stacey Kennedy, the Kinky Spurs series looks like it is going to be a definite star. Emma Monroe is nursing a broken heart and inheriting her beloved grandmother's ranch that doubles as an animal sanctuary in the perfect place to recover. Working at Kinky Spurs to make ends meet is a means to an end. But Shep Blackshaw is an added bonus. When an unusually troubled horse is brought to her ranch, Shep realises that this animal is more than she can handle. And her getting injured confirm his worst fears. He must help her rehabilitate the horse before she kills herself trying. And being in such close proximity to her is no hardship especially when the chemistry they share is off the charts.I received an Advanced Reviewers Copy from #NetGalley for voluntary review consideration.

      Dirty-Talking Cowboy is the first book of this series & sets the scene for the others. Emma is an ex-marketing executive that has inherited her Grandmother's farm. While she is trying to decide what to do, she has a part time job at the local bar. Shep is a hot Alpha cowboy & is interested in Emma. He's determined she'll be his. She is hung up on her former boss who "done her wrong". Can Shep make her forget her ex-boss? Thanks to the descriptive prose, arrogance & sexiness of Shep, the development of the supporting characters & the main premise, this story was enjoyable. The attraction between Shep & Emma leapt off the page & the sexual scenes were well written & exquisitely descriptive. The only jarring note was Emma's hang up on her ex-boss. It was needed at the beginning of the story but seemed excessive. Overall, this was a very good story.
