    FADE IN:

EXT. NEW YORK CITY – NIGHT

Around midnight, with the moon in her full splendour, the Blue Valley guesthouse rises in its stately grandeur in the Brooklyn area of the East River.

EXT. BLUE VALLEY GUSTHOUSE – NIGHT

People of all ages crowd the spacious front lawn. Amidst this huge gathering, PHARAOH (35), a muscular man sits with his eyes closed in deep meditation. He chants incantations in Egyptian Coptic, the language of magic, witchcraft and sorcery.

    PHARAOH

Oom, Cream, Zream, Croom, Mazica curuza, vazarusharu, krimkinijaakini…

    The crowd hears him.

MAN #1 (whispers to man #2)

Did you know? Fear of the mysterious skeleton-ghost had united them. It had struck terror in the hearts of New York City, claiming six lives.

    MAN #2

Yeah. The media blew up over those murders.

Spy cameras set up by a number of TV channels shoot footage of the ghost's destructive movements and activities. WOMAN #1 turns towards women #2.

    WOMAN #1 (whispers)

Pharaoh was one of the top sorcerers in the world. Now they’ve recruited him in capturing the skeleton-ghost.

The female guest nods. Suddenly, screams and shouts break the quiet moment. The crowd scatters. Everyone flees in different directions.

The SKELETON-GHOST, a six feet tall framework of two hundred and six bones, makes its way towards the crowd. With eyeballs still in the eye sockets, the skeleton-ghost turns and waves its skeletal hands. It hovers above the ground and effortlessly takes long strides.

The Pharaoh awakens from his meditation. Opens his cat eyes and sees himself face to face with the skeleton-ghost. The skeleton-ghost stares into the Pharaoh's eyes. Too scared to speak, the Pharaoh shrieks.

    PHARAOH (shouts)

    Ggghoossstt... ghost...ghost-skeleton!

His body trembles. The skeleton-ghost slowly opens its jaws, revealing a row of teeth.

    SKELETON-GHOST (deep male Robin voice)

    Do ghosts exist?

Frozen in fear, the Pharaoh wets his pants.

    SKELETON-GHOST (CONT’D)

    Speak up. Mr. Pharaoh.

    PHARAOH

    No... No... Ghost.

    SKELETON-GHOST

    Then what am I?

    PHARAOH

    Ghost! Yes... ghosts do exist.

The skeleton-ghost bursts into laughter and stops suddenly.

    PHARAOH (CONT’D)

Mr. Robin Cole, I didn't kill you. Don't kill me, please.

    SKELETON-GHOST (angrily)

I was born free... and taxed to death.

The skeleton-ghost's eyes glow as red fluid fills its eyeballs. Its skeleton hands grab the Pharaoh's head. Spy cameras capture the incident as the New Star TV channel telecasts this live event throughout the world.

    INT. HOUSE – NIGHT

Family members are watching New Star TV channel program live. The Pharaoh can be seen on screen shaking in every limb. With one swift move, the skeleton-ghost wrings the Pharaoh's neck a full one-hundred-eighty degrees. Bones crunch as the viewers gasp in fear.

INT. NEW YORK CITY POLICE HEAD OFFICE – NIGHT

Visibly shaken, the FBI higher officials Hagen (45), and others quietly watch the same live TV program. The TV screen shows a raw image of the skeleton-ghost slashing the Pharaoh's neck. Blood spills out. The skeleton-ghost sinks its teeth into the Pharaoh's neck. It rips out his flesh and flings them about. The red fluid in its eyes recedes.

EXT. BLUE VALLY GUESTHOUE – NIGHT (CONT'D)

The New York Police Department (NYPD), along with the forces drawn from the army reserve, muster all their courage to stay calm. The NYPD commissioner, Phillips (45), who's in charge of the operation, watches the screen in horror.

EXT. BLUE VALLEY GUSTHOUSE – NIGHT

The skeleton-ghost offers its skeleton hands to be cuffed. The Polices Officers, Commissioner Phillips stand back in a safe distance. Nobody dares to move forward.

    SKELETON-GHOST (to Commissioner Phillips)

    Commissioner Phillips. Arrest me.

In a sudden move, the skeleton-ghost seizes the handcuffs from one of the police officers and locks them around its own wrists.

EXT. NEW YORK CITY – DAY

Four Army helicopters hover in the sky with weapons ready.

INT. ARMY HELICOPTER #1 – DAY

ARMY OFFICER #1 signals to OFFICER #2 in another helicopter.

    ARMY OFFICER #1 (into headset)

Be ready to attack if it moves.

ARM OFFICER #2 (V.O.) (via headset)

Yes. Sir. I have the target locked.

EXT. DISTRICT COURT, NEW YORK CITY – DAY

NYPD police and Army Forces stand guard to control the restless people. Magistrates, Attorneys, international judges and personals connected with law watch with great interest. ATTORNEY #1 approaches ATTORNEY #2.

    ATTORNEY #1

What a wonder!? The skeleton-ghost was going to present its defence and plead for justice.

    ATTORNEY #2

Which laws would apply? If tried and convicted, how can we punish it? If a life sentence were clapped on the ghost, how do we carry it out? Who would guard it, and in what kind of prison? How do we execute a ghost?
