Being a clinical psychologist I try to brings my knowledge of psychological complexes in palmistry. I always teach to my students that the art of hand reading is a lot more to offer than just future telling. I take the science of hand reading as a tool of assessment of the personality traits and mental state of an individual. For me a hand reader’s job is a lot like that of a counsellor and understanding of palmistry can help one to see the world as the subject himself does. Besides palmistry i also enjoy the KP system of astrology.

Chapter 1
SUFFERING: A DIVINE MOTIVATION
Arjun was disturbed for many long months. He lived alone. But this wasn’t the problem. Something was wrong, something was definitely missing. But what was that? Things in the last few months were not in his favor. Everything, he tried or he wanted, fell just short. Nothing seemed to fall in place. Something was troubling him. It was also not for the first time as it had happened many times before. This was the time for searching a permanent solution. The search for something that was missing in him for a long time.
Arjun left home one day. Moving here and there he reached a big city. The city of Aloha. The city was as beautiful and attractive as any famous city. Arjun as a normal traveller didn’t know what he was looking for. His mood had improved, but he was far from being calm and relaxed. While staying in the city he heard of a philosopher and visionary ‘Keshav.’
‘He has the solution for everything’, the hotel manager added, ‘you can visit him, maybe you find answers to your problems.’
The next day Arjun had an appointment with this wise man. Keshav was an ordinary-looking man in his late thirties. He was wearing a serious look while greeting Arjun.
Keshav looked deeply in the Arjun’s eyes, and with only a half-smile asked, ‘So, what can I do for you young man?’
Arjun told his problems ‘Look! There is something wrong with me, but the problem is that I really don’t know what it is.’
Keshav laughed, ‘And you simply don’t know what you are searching in life.’
Arjun raised his eyebrows and nodded ‘Is it so obvious for you to understand that I don’t know what I want?’
Keshav replied ‘Yes! When I looked at you, I almost understood your problem straight away.’
Arjun: So, can you help me find what I am looking for?
Keshav: Perhaps yes.
Arjun: Then please tell me what am I looking for? Where would I find that?
Keshav: I understand your concerns. But it is not so simple. Anyway, let’s try. Can you tell me why in this world every creature is moving? Humans are running here and there, animals are also doing something, birds are also flying, and insects are also constantly moving. Even plants are also not still. What do you think is the reason for that?
Arjun: I don’t know, sir. They might be moving because they wanted to. Anyway, I don’t see how this relates to my original question.
Keshav: Of course, it is related, but this I will explain later. First, listen to a story. When God almighty created this world, then he created everything perfect. Men, women, animals, birds, insects, everything had great capacities and they were perfect in themselves. But then God saw that in this world nothing was moving. Everything was perfectly static. God poked the birds, ‘I gave you the wings, please fly.’ But the birds didn’t oblige. God asked the animals, ‘I gave you strong legs. You can run, so please start moving.’ Animals simply ignored and chose to stay in a corner. God asked the humans ‘You have the best potentials, so use your hands, legs, brain, etc.’ The humans continued lying passively. Then God started thinking about his mistake. He realized his mistake. Do you know what he created next?
Arjun: Nope! I don’t have any idea.
Keshav: (With broad grin) then God created suffering... And all the creatures including birds, animals, and humans started running in all directions. Suffering is the basic motivation that is driving us forward in life. This is the answer to my question, and also to your question.
Arjun: Thanks for this great story. You mean that all of us are trying to go beyond suffering only. But this I knew from the very first day. I am suffering that’s why I am here. Now the question is, how can I go beyond the suffering? Moreover, I still don’t know what I need for removing the suffering.
Keshav: A very short answer to your question is that there are various causes of suffering for you. What you are looking for is not just one thing. Gradually, you can start collecting them and your suffering will fade away. The emptiness inside you is calling you to fulfil it. This sense of fulfilment is perhaps what you are looking for.
Arjun: (After a long thought) you could be right. Any advice where should I start my search?
Keshav: Have you heard of ‘Mystique City’?
Arjun: No, Never. It is a strange name ‘Mystique City’. Does something like this really exist?
Keshav: Of course, it does.
Arjun: What is Mystique about it?
Keshav: This is the city of witches. These are witches with great magic. They are the most beautiful women in the world. People living there are the wisest people in the world, and they know the deepest secrets of the world. They all possess great charms. These people know the secrets of the greatest treasures and powers, the powers that can ward off all sufferings. If you dare, you can go and collect those powers and remove your suffering with the help of them. Only a brave and smart man can search all those treasures, divine powers, and ancient wisdom.
Arjun was in thoughts ‘Is it really possible that there is such a place on the earth? Will it be a good idea to go visit the place at least?’
Keshav read it on Arjun’s face and teasingly challenged his mettle, ‘Are you a MAN enough for this adventure? Many people went there, but none returned.’
Arjun answered with determination, ‘I think now I should be moving. I’ll see if I can do it or not. Thank you.’

Chapter 2
THE MYSTIQUE CITY
Arjun reached the beautiful and mysterious ‘Mystique City.’ Arjun reached the entrance gate of the city and found there were four guards in two small rooms on both sides of the gate.
Arjun was half surprised to see some man in the city, ‘Oh! There are men too in the city.’
All the time he was expecting to see only beautiful wicked women, as he was thinking about them in the last few hours.
‘They never mentioned that there are men too in the Mystique City’, Arjun felt half relieved and half disappointed that it was a normal city only. ‘Any way many men going to Mystique City and never returning must be living here too’, Arjun smiled at his own wisdom.
The guards didn’t seem to stop anyone but still, Arjun wasn’t sure what to expect from them. There was no one else besides him waiting to enter the gate. Arjun looked at the guard on the left side of the small window. The guard looked at him in a questioning manner. Arjun told that he wanted to enter the city.
The guard smiled, ‘Why? Are you not afraid of witches? Or, are you excited to see the beautiful women’?
Arjun smiled back and said, ‘Both.’
Next minute he was in. The city was surrounded by hills from all sides. The city had four entrances to it. The four roads were coming down from the high mountains from the different directions to the entry gates of the city. It was a valley amongst white snow-capped mountains. Various rivers and small lakes were coming down from the mountains and giving the city an amazing beauty. The city was famous not only for its enchanting beauty but also for the strange stories prevailing about the city. It was told that this was the city of witches. Beautiful witches. These witches had magical powers and could do almost anything. They were said to be ruthless in the heart and still irresistibly beautiful. Very few men ever travelled there and as usual, never went back home. They couldn’t escape the charm of these heavenly girls and nobody returned. Of-course! There were many stories, mostly myths, but none could verify them ever.
Arjun found the city to be very normal and exciting. He was roaming in the city and admiring its charm. Most of the houses were two-story and were big and spacious. He walked through the marketplace of the city. Shops of all kinds were there. It was not a big market but seemed enough for the needs of the city. Some women and girls were buying the stuff. The market was not yet open. The first thing he couldn’t help notice was that women and young girls were very beautiful.
‘So that was true, they are beautiful but are they really wicked? They don’t seem like that. They seem nice and innocent but then men always think like that and get the prey of their charms’, Arjun told himself. He decided to be careful and not to be their victim.
Anyway, he was there with a purpose. Unlike others, he won’t be distracted. Arjun was hungry and tired, so he decided to search for a cheap inn and restaurant. He found a place. An old man welcomed him, and after some bargain, Arjun settled there. After keeping his small
