    Conspiracy - K.C. Hunter

    Prologue

Alexander and Samantha Harrington were billionaires and were killed in a car accident. Alexander had borrowed and leveraged everything to make a deal but died before it was concluded. The money was missing and no one knew what the deal was.

Their three children, Rafi, Jasper and Suzi, were left with little, but managed to keep the yacht which they intended to live on and use as a business offering charters round the Greek Islands and Mediterranean.

Dorsey, the family lawyer and friend, and Bob and Imelda, other family friends, helped them all they could.

    Chapter 1 A Law Suit

By now they all agreed , there was someone involved in the deal with their father who was hiding, and could be dangerous. If they hadn’t come forward it was because they wanted to keep the money, and it was such a large amount they might be prepared to do anything to avoid losing it.

Everyone sat in silence, processing the information and thinking about the unanswered questions.

We have one clue, suddenly stated Jasper. The size of the investment! Few businesses would cost all of dad’s money. So, we need to find out what really big deals happened around that time, but to do that we need someone we can trust, and we can trust no one. My father would not have done a deal of that size without a written contract unless he knew the person really well and thought he could trust him absolutely, Jasper told everyone.

There is someone we can trust, Rafi said. Netta’s father is an accountant, and a good one it seems. He could probably find out about any deal of that size. The only problem is he hates me so much he may not want to help, and I don’t think it is something I can ask him over the phone. I need to go and see him in person – and there just isn’t time right now.

The crew of five was struggling to manage the work that had been done, until recently, by eight experienced people, and they
