    Naughtily titled, Winking in Wunderland is a satirical short story, a caustic satire at best. The plot clearly unravels the politics of winking and links that politics to the business of print media and television journalism.

    Winking in Wunderland happily takes a potshot at the duplicity of rampant winking in print media and films and demonstrates how, behind the curtain of winking, duplicitous journalists 'wink' their way to concoct their 'winky' stories for mass consumption.

    This short story happens in Wunderland, as the name suggests, a 'wink-wrapped' dystopian state, where winking is business as usual.

    If this short story is called caricature of 'winky journalism' and 'winky films', that would be stating the obvious.
