    A Science Fiction Short

Was she in love with Indira or did she want to be Indira? She was stunning with her lithe limbs, thick hair and hypnotic eyes. Sherri thought she might be getting some reciprocal vibes from her. It was tough enough making friends, but trying to find that one special friend? Sherri hadn’t come out to her parents -or even herself for that matter -until the final year of high school. Now here she was in her first year at university and she had never been kissed. By a boy or a girl. Perhaps tonight her luck would change?

Indira was in her English Literature lectures and they had developed a friendship chatting about assignments and upcoming exams.  Frequently those elegant hands would grab Sherri’s arm or pat her on the knee.
