A BIG SECRET AND OTHER STORIES by Shelby Halliburton includes the short stories "A Big Secret", "Missed Calls", and "The Last Ride". "A Big Secret" is a mysterious love story between Gary and Jackie, who meet under peculiar circumstances in a hotel. "Missed Calls" is a tense story about a young girl named Jane who is desperately trying to reach her boyfriend, Nolan, only to find out that she may never see him again. "The Last Ride" is a foreboding tale of a young girl dying to get out of her humdrum life but she ends up hitchhiking with the wrong person.

Shelby Halliburton is an author of fantasy/drama novels and a screenwriter for fantasy and science fictions films. She has an AA in Creative Writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University. Currently, Shelby is employed using her BS in Chemistry. She is also suspiciously well-prepared for the zombie apocalypse due to her obsession with The Walking Dead.
