Authors Note:
This story takes place in our Nightmare Courts Universe. While the majority of the books in that universe are Reverse Harem, this story is not. If you have read The Dank Courts series, specifically Book one, Seasons in the Abyss, then you will recognize The two main characters. If you have not yet, Its OK, as you can look at this as a Prequel to Gobeth and her harem.
A word on Farletz: he’s a Nightflyer. He’s a Massive manta ray looking creature, with the upper torso of a man, but has massive fleshy wings-ish parts on his body. I realize that it’s a little hard to fathom, but... we figured we would give you the heads up.

1.
Farletz, King of the Sluagh, high nightflyer, king of the darkness, looked out over a midnight Faerie, surveying the night sky. Two nights. Two nights and his real life would begin. Two nights and he would have his mate, and she would know what it was to be loved by the epitome of darkness. In two nights, his people would have a queen consort to adore.

He should. They were working on several issues with the Jack-in-Irons and planning a rite for the night hags. But he was here, participating in skullduggery to achieve his end game.
Things are happening, Kinder, things that once started cannot be undone.
Okay...elaborate?
The revel is in two nights.
Yes. Princess Munden will be hunted,
he said.
She’s going to be caught. By me.
Kinder gave him
