Elizabeth Ward

Elizabeth Ward is a Lecturer in German Studies and specializes in German film. She is a lecturer at the Europa-Universität Viadrina and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions research fellow at the Universität Leipzig. She has published on East German cinema, contemporary Holocaust film and twenty-first century German cinema. She is the co-editor of Entertaining German Culture Contemporary Transnational Television and Film (Berghahn Books, 2023).

Numbers:

Soul cards:

If they are single digit card numbers, they can be interpreted using the same numerological guidelines given above and if they are double digit cards, simply add the two numbers of the card together (14 is 1 + 4 = 5) or (20 is 2 + 0 = 2) to get the single digit interpretation. You can also add each number of the double digits into the reading...so 15 would contain both the energy of the 1 plus the 5 energy and ultimately land on the 6 energy.

THIS IS A REMINDER of how very powerful your I AM is. You can create misery or happiness, weakness or strength, make mountains or mole hills all with the mighty power of your I AM. You get to choose how to interpret every single event in your life. Are you choosing to be the hero, the victim, or the villain of your own story? The choice is always yours; the Universe is neutral and will follow your every wish and whim that you speak and think about yourself. So where are you directing the brilliant spark of your mind right now? On problems? Or on the positive end result of what you would love to have in your life. Carlos Castaneda said it best, We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong, the amount of work is the same. Amen to that.

This card represents the seed before the seed is planted...it is the idea that sparks something new into life at the earliest stages of manifestation. It is the soul, heart or essence of any manifestation in the outer world. It is asking you to get clear and focus on what you would love to manifest at this time and stage in your life journey. It is also saying that a new dream or adventure awaits you...but you have to give it wings by dreaming it up first in your mind and you do this by focusing on it. Sometimes, when you finish a creative project, you can feel this new seed idea brimming just outside of your conscious reach...you know it is there, but it has not come forward and revealed itself yet. That is what this card represents...the journey that has not quite taken shape yet.

In a 3-card reading:

Challenge - You need a new goal, an adventure awaits you, you are complaining too much and focusing more on the negative than the positive.

Advice - Focus more on the dream than on problems, consciously choose to plant new seeds as bigger goals, ideas, dreams and affirmations about what is possible and what you could have and would love to have if only you allowed yourself to dream a bit bigger this time. Whenever I see this card, I immediately think of Source Energy or God Energy and it comes in to remind you to lean on God/The Universe a bit more. You are trying to do too much on your own, which limits your power and gives you a very narrow view of what is truly possible. It would be so much easier to create what you want while partnered with and calling forth Source Energy to move through you and create even greater good on your new path. This is the card of pure magic, miracles and positive outcomes...call on it now to light your new path forward.

Challenge – You have either forgotten or are finding it difficult to invite and allow Source to move and work through you in this endeavor.
