A Warrior In Training - Jacyln Dee
The Last Unicorn
Mira felt the disturbance before she heard the sound of crying. She sighed and swam up to the surface. The sea creatures below hated it when they felt a disturbance. Mira perched herself on the rock in the middle of the lake and, to her amazement, she saw Albion crying, his tears dripping into the lake, which was causing the disturbance.
Albion, why are you crying? Your tears are disturbing my friends below.
My teacher scolded me. He says I don't study well.
Mira watched as Albion’s beautiful face turned sorrowful. His eyes were iridescent blue and looked bluer when his emotions came to the surface. His golden horn also turned bright when he was feeling deep emotions like joy, sadness, and sorrow. Albion was a beautiful beast with
skin as white as snow; his hair cascaded down from the nape of his neck, the same color as his horn. Albion was a unicorn, but sadly, unlike other unicorns, he did not have wings. Either
