About this ebook

Janice was a good girl. A girl who worked hard at her job wanted to be liked, and who very rarely went out of her way to cause trouble for herself. Sure, she liked to party, but she was always home on time, brushed her teeth and went to bed, ready for work the next day.

When two friends from work ask her out to go to a little club they often party at, she leapt at the chance to make friends.

Then, they ditched her, leaving her all alone.

Two men, Mitch and Reggie, decided to hit her up afterward, and that fateful meeting with them both not only might have saved her life but also revealed a world she had no clue was there. Quickly, things escalate faster and faster for Janice as she tries to make sense of it all.

All, while trying to survive.

Werewolves of the City - A Werewolf Threesome Romance - Darkheart Desire

    Chapter 1 – Growing Shadows

The hot thrum of music danced in the air as Janice stood out in the middle of the dance floor, sizing it up in rhythmic strategy like a battlefield. Her heels clicking and clacking down along the floorboard beneath her heeled feet as the thud of electronic music caused her being to hum in tune with all the others who joined with her.

Soon, she felt herself meld into the background and foreground with all of those other souls that listened to the beat of the song. Women in rapture, whipping their hair about as men with eyes hidden behind the shutter of glasses dance and ground in erotic rhythm around their chosen partners. Janice herself on the lookout for those same men who came to break down her will to be alone, not wanting nor desiring to be a part of their routine.

Eventually, all chorus and beats and heat died down, and she found herself moving away from the floor back to the area of the bar itself. Cheers, jeers, cries and more echoing out as the cacophony of fun and entertainment resounded out all around her while the Dj tuned down one set and started to work up to another. All music melding into Janice’s mind as she stumbled up to a leather covered seat, and slumped down into it.

She gasped, catching her breath as she moved a hand downward slowly, and rolled down her skirt that had slid up along her knees to about mid-thigh. Her purple dress, so immaculate in design, glistened with the flecking of sweat that came from the movement out there. She was tired now, and fatigued from movements; having exerted all the wildness of the night that she wanted to exude out onto the crowd and mix her excitement with theirs.

She smiled, and then brought her other slender hand upwards through the dark strands of her blackened hair to uncurl, and unfurl the nested and tangled web lines that formed on her brow. Enough dancing, for now, she concluded in time as a shadow overtook her senses and darkened her in her seat against the probing and pulsating lights of the strobes that rolled out along the side of the dance floor in all their seizure-inducing glory.

Shock took her for half a second before she looked upwards with a slight gasp, and then sighed, grinning to herself. The smiling face of the waitress who had been serving her all night stood above her. Platter in hand.

Dancing hard out there huh? she asked as she settled the plate down to put down the several drinks that Janice had ordered.

Oh, yea. She replied as she settled down against the cooling top of the table. Her elbows pressing in against herself as she relaxed against the meat of her arms. Her bright green eyes looking all around for the company she brought with her as the drinks continued to pile. Just waiting to see if my friends are here. Think they might still be out there.

The Waitress, good mannered as she was, settled back and held the small plate beneath her arm as she turned to muse out in thought as well with a glance, turning back to Janice then with an offered smile. "Ahhh. I’m sure they are. Well, if you need anything else, just
