About this ebook

Donald isn't sure whether to accompany Sally, his wife of 4 years, on her upcoming whitewater rafting trip. But he suspects that letting her do it solo might provide some space, and that in turn might do something about the lost spark in their marriage. But it turns out that Sally's outrageously uninhibited friend Cheryl is planning on going too. Maybe that should have been a warning. In a phone call, Sally describes Cheryl's proposition, and Donald replies boldly. Maybe too boldly.

I have enjoyed reading quality erotica for quite a long time, and only began writing at the start of 2018, with my first, very short story, Karen, shared on ourhotwives.org. The surprising positive response to this first effort encouraged me to to continue. And I also discovered that I enjoy writing erotic fiction as much as reading it. Possibly more.

    About the Author

So, do you want to come with me or not?

Sally was at the point of flight reservations. Time to decide.

I guess I’d better sit this one out. I only have a week and a half of PTO left and we may need that.

It was true about the Personal Time Off. You were free to use it any way you wanted. To go on vacation, or to get sick. So it made some sense to try to hang onto it. But to be honest, maybe that wasn’t the real reason. Things had cooled off so much in just four years of marriage. Couldn’t really figure it out. But maybe I hoped that a solo vacation would somehow rejuvenate her. Rejuvenate us after her return.

Do you mind too much? I’m sure you’ll meet interesting people out there.

Out there was going to be a whitewater rafting expedition. Something neither of us had ever done. But Sally had always been one for new adventures. It was something I probably would never have thought of.

Well, hopefully Cheryl will be going too.

Cheryl. Sally’s friend always seemed kind of wild. Talked openly about things everyone else keeps private. Like semi-covert public sex with one of her boyfriends. She just tended to state her needs like that in such a matter-of-fact way, even in front of me. Maybe some of that would rub off on my wife. And I suppose I imagined that it could then do something for us, once she got back.

Oh, that’s great. That should make for an interesting trip.

She got the suggestion, judging by the look I got.

Once I saw Sally packing her things, I suppose I did have second thoughts. Would it have been better for our flagging intimate life if I’d just decided to come along? Impossible to know. But sex aside, I also started to miss her, even before she’d left. I just hoped it would turn out to have been a good decision.

    Driving Sally to the airport,
