    I’ve been packed for the past five days, but I need money.

    Didn’t your father give you money? Did you ask?

    I swallowed, adjusted my glasses, and bit my lower lip. I… I haven’t asked Dad yet.

    What are you waiting for? Aren’t you missing classes?
