Illianna
A Druidess and Nature
Nature is not a book you can read backwards, first you listen to nature and understand patiently, and then you will start to understand her mysteries. Modern man believes they can completely understand nature on their terms with their science. Pardon my French but this is stupid, show me a man who thinks he can understand a woman without listening to her and asking her thoughtful questions, and I will show you a fool.
Druids have been listening to Nature for over eight thousand years and we are just beginning to understand some of the mysteries. A Druidess or Druid spend twenty years just learning basic rules and forces of Nature and then spend the rest of their lives understanding some of Nature’s ways.
We Druids can do some amazing things but we have also made some major blunders. No one is arrogant enough to think it is all figured out and we know that humility is a very important part of understanding Nature. Women feel nature in a very personal ways from motherhood and child-bearing to empathy
