He has amassed thousands of hours of flying in a wide variety of aircraft all over the globe and in all types of weather. He has taught Navy pilots to fly and how to use their aircraft as a weapons platform by using a wide variety of weaponry. He has lectured in classrooms on various subjects such as conventional and nuclear weapons, undersea homing torpedoes, aerial mines, anti-submarine warfare and communications including classified codes with the Navy.
He is a retired Commander, United States Naval Reserve and a retired airline Captain who last flew the Boeing 747.
He now uses his time renovating a large 100 year old home in Elgin, Illinois and divides his time between there and his Florida home in Naples, Florida.view less
