WHAT:

This unique Journal of Magick is totally eclectic, with a focus on serious practical and theoretical essays, fiction, rituals, art and poetry that all express The High Art: those countless aspects of magick and the alchemy of the 'Great Work'. The material herein is primarily in, although not limited to, the realm of Thelema. This means operating on the principle of love under will. Other terms such as Tantrik, Shamanic, Chaotic, Wiccan and so on may also apply. The Will to Love is the Law to Live. In the end, Silver Star is what our contributors and readers choose to make of it.

WHO:

While being in a sense a magickal child of The Horus/Maat Lodge, Silver Star
is not limited in any way to being a 'house organ' for the Lodge. Silver Star seeks to provide an open source and forum for all serious Adepts who will to share with their Brothers and Sisters the work of the Art Magick. A closed system dies. We seek to help inspire the metaphysical knowledge of the New Gnosis as an open system. Our simple goal: The magickal evolution of humanity.

HOW:

 You send us wonders and we will help spread them. Omnia Veritas (everything is true) . If you like what you see here, then we want your work as well. All arcane materials are acceptable from all types of open-minded people, belonging to any and all (or absolutely no) orders, lodges, circles and so on. Sincerity, scholarship, and creativity are our desired qualities. Silver Star seeks to represent the widest possible spectrum of Magick and its practice as it is evolving now. Most disciplines have a Journal that transcends politics and becomes a serious forum for the whole community, a free space where ideas and knowledge can be shared. This is ours.

WHY:

Because we can. Many of us marvel at the current proliferation of magick everywhere. Who has not witnessed the fertile chaos of these uncertain times? Who has not found the tools and information necessary to create conscious change in abundant supply? Cyberspace and the tools thereof provide powerful tools to effect change with Will. We to Evolve. Each one of us now lives in a world where critical choices must be made. As the old song goes: "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." We are united in one simple ideal: Love IS the Law. Do you truly know how much your heart weighs?

WHERE:

HERE and NOW! This is all that matters. We are scattered about the globe, a beautiful 'net of stars', yet in this magick circle of cyberspace we are together. Let us gather in love and will to share our visions and affirm our unity. This is a time of great changes: a new conscious is rising phoenix-like from the ashes of a restrictive age. Let it take flight here.

Greetings All!

Well, the sixth mass extinction in Earth’s history is under way and it seems that our species has succumbed to its collective death wish. It is a time of pernicious madness and self destruction driven by a blind, greedy few. There is no escaping the flames but we make pass through them. There is only one possible path for those of us who believe in, practice and pin our hopes on Magick, and the Great Work of human evolution. We must seize the reins of the zeitgeist and manifest a path of TRUTH, a positive reality-future we know is real. It will be touch and go, but we know that all reality is malleable and it is our only chance. We can collectively do it through Unity.

The Archons who strive tirelessly to keep us stupid, violent, ignorant and enslaved are within us, in our flawed species mind. Around us we see such blind and hateful actions that it seems that many wish to resurrect the demons of tribal hatred, slaughter, and genocide. A rage-filled us-or-them mentality has erupted globally with such a vengence that even truths such as climate change and the obliteration of thousands of animal species has become thrown aside by lies and greed-rape of the planet. As a species we fiddle, Rome burns and our leaders are chimps throwing shit at eachother while stealing all they can in the false hope that they can somehow escape the hell of their own invoking.

There is no hope in ‘new age’ twaddle and fads, futuristic fantasies, apocalyptic religious wet dreams or survivalist stupidity. The savior isn’t coming.

Magick and our visions have shown us the clear truth: Our species has to grow up, we have to remember the Truth that we are ONE instead of MANY. It is transmitted in every true prophecy and spiritual teaching. God is ONE, we are ONE, Mankind is ONE: ALL is ONE. Therefore to hurt another or the earth or an elephant is to hurt ALL.

There is no difference between any one being and any other being whatsoever, for every man and woman (and tree and animal) is a star. We are ONE vast divine constellation.

Humanity seems to be ensnared in the iron prison of the manipulators, slave masters and self-deluded plutocrats who run the planet. It can all seem hopeless and division, hate and greed seem to be endemic.

I say this: Through Magick we have all the tools we need to change this false and evil narrative and rise above the muck: One Star in Sight.

It is our duty to forgo ‘belief’ utterly and embrace the truth and miracle of ourselves and of the cosmos which enfolds us and lifts us up into uttermost rapture We are always and completely One, One with everything, One with our Genome and species, One with all living things which arise and return to Gaia and One with God/dess, however you wish to try to name the ineffable!

While human mundane consciousness creates a barrier between us and gnosis, magickally embracing the miraculous that surrounds us daily gives us access to the truth. Fath is the enemy, for we believe what we have been told and what we think is reality, thus limiting the potentiality of what is possible. Illusionary belief empowers our ego, and such a self centered existence dooms us to what A. O. Spare called ‘the hell of the normal.’ But the Hell of the Normal is crumbling! Consensual reality is fragmenting and lies spread like a virus.

And so here we are. Our reality is cracking and chaos magma is erupting from all the cultural crevices. The Crowned and Conquering Child has no limits or cares for the things he smashes or obliterates because he is US trying to escape the prison of our own self-limitations and self-destructive impulses! We are surrounded by agitated homicidal/ suicidal sleepwalkers who tear their flesh and poison themselves and attack each other in a hopeless attempt to dull the pain of their imagined horrors and fears and self entitlement. This hell is both self-created and perpetuated by those who seek to devour the dreams, riches, resources and life of all things. These hollow-ones think that it will appease and nourish them, but even endlessly devouring wealth and power they live in misery and fear. How terribly sad our modern reality is, how horrified natural people, animals, plants and Gaia are to see us turn the perfection of Nature into nightmares of our own making into self-fulfilling prophecies.

Let us withdraw from the madness and the tangled brambles of our perceived current. Through meditation and magick, let us touch Gaia and sink our roots into the Earth and listen. Let us call our gods, who are us, for power and perspective!  

Nuit, Remind us there is no difference between any one thing and any other thing!

Hadit, remind us that our Center is everywhere and nowhere found!

Horus, Remind us that the force and fire destroys but also purifies and clears the way for the new!

Maat, may we always hold to Truth and remember that by the same mouth we utter and create our reality and so can shape and manifest it!

And let us always invoke PAN so that we may never stop laughing and letting go of the illusions in our Play!

The ancient tribal wisdom of those who understood and lived in peace with Nature speaks to us over the cacophony, telling us that we approach a cliff, that our blind madness is an evolutionary dead end but also pointing a way out....

Your destiny is a mystery to us. What will happen when the buffalo are all slaughtered? The wild horses tamed? What will happen when the secret corners of the forest are heavy with the scent of many men and the view of the ripe hills is blotted with talking wires? Where will the thicket be? Gone! Where will the eagle be? Gone! And what is to say goodbye to the swift pony and then hunt? The end of living and the beginning of survival....

As we are part of the land, you too are part of the land. This earth is precious to us. It is also precious to you.

And there it is.

The Truth.

The only way we can survive as a species is by Unity of All Life, by awakening to the reality that we and Nature are ONE.

Not as a metaphor or ideal, it must be Gnosis and Truth. We are literally all one mind, one being, one Consciousness. It is not an ideal, but Truth. It is N’Aton.

This then is our Great Work, the manifestation and reification of the Truth that has and will always be. But there is a catch. The only way to achieve such direct Gnosis of the Unity of all beings is by giving up everything; Ego, Self, illusion of uniqueness and identity, and this is so very hard to do for those doing magick. It is much harder for those trapped in the rigid dichotomy of old aeon religious dogma, reality constructs and limited prisons of belief.

Amidst the maniacal laughter of Horus who is tearing down all the walls and lies of the old age the silent call of Maat fills us, bidding us to fly through the falling towers and fires and manifest the Future Truth of Unity Now.

Our choice is clear for humanity: Species self destruction and replacement or species evolution to a new form and consciousness. It is up to us who are ‘few and secret.’ We can not wait for salvation, we are our own Truth and future.

Homo Sapiens is finished.

This form we have chosen to use and abuse is unraveling as I type this, you who read this can feel it. We have hit a wall, a dead end, but Maat and the voices of the future have shown us a secret way out of our hell, our doom and ignorance: We can evolve UP. We can let go of the old flesh, the old structures and limitations.

We can Will genetic change and become a new species, Homo Veritas as Nema named it. We can do anything we Will to do with Love and Unity. That is Magick

However, the hopelessness being purveyed today is seductive. Extinction, genocide, endles poverty and a ruling feudal aristocracy presidng over a vast industrial hell all offer peace in surrender. This escape is easy to sink into and is evil and suicidal, and It is all an illusionary and dead end.

Magick is the most ancient evolutionary tool humanity has. It is our one great hope as philosophies, politics and beliefs are tossed into the pyre! Our species has always had the keys to our own transformation and evolution. Prometheus gave us the fire, and every god and goddess of nature offers us a mirror of our own absolute divinity. We are not seeking to become divine, no, we ARE divine. We are the Deity we have been calling for, we have everything we need to awaken as stars and manifest as pure consciousness in Unity, for we know we are all One.

Times of chaos and destruction offer a clearing, an open space for the new, to conjure, manifest and create our vision. This is such a time. As we all awaken, in joy, horror, shock- those who seize the magick will craft the Future. Let it be us.

This is our Magick, the Magick of Planetary Rebirth and positive Evolution. This future already exists! We have but to seize the golden thread the Children of Maat have tossed back to us and follow it! Our collective Abyss will be crossed by inches every day. With Love, Will and Truth.

So! Go forth and reify the Future amidst the mad chaos and flames!

Craft such planetary and stellar Magicks that the world will emerge as the joyful Truth it ALREADY IS! We have the Power, the Will and the Love. For we know, without a doubt, that All is One and it is US.

Aion 131, Elder Guardian of the HML

Invocation of Ma’at, channeled the evening of July 28, 2019, with a covenstead in north central Massachusetts, USA.

Before this vision of a procession of Ma’at, a soldier, priest, and city official of ancient times presented himself before me as a spirit. My position in circle was in the east invoking upon a priestess in the west. He was dressed in a woolen/leather skirt of tufted pattern and shoulder pads, had gray hair and beard, and was a powerful official. Next, he entered my body, and thus stated:

BEHOLD! She walks amongst you unseen.

Her procession is many and the litter is filled with perfumes, silks and gems. Great care is taken for her passage as it is brief and for official council only.

Who are you who see her not? Who are you whose eyes are clouded by the finite world that you know not your contribution?

Who are you who leave behind an empty carriage of abandoned hopes, abandoned love?

Not the child that hides his face in his hand.Not the child that looks into the eyes that love him for that moment, that rescues him for the sake of a fallen nation.

For here is the conflict! Man is the child and savior of the child all at once.

Time has stood still for your knowledge and your passage. Take the fruit of your desire and pass it to the brother and sister behind you. You who are weak and ragged were strong and vibrant in times before. Above in the heavens we watch and know of all struggles.

Your ascent to the throne of Ma’at is not weary and your legs, heavy not, for your heart is full of the eternal ethos.

NEFERURE

The Rose of ISIS and the Feather of Maat by André Consciência

This is the rose of Isis: the sword to the north, the cup to the west, the pentacle to the east, and the rod to the south.

Here TETRAGRAMMATON’s formula can not be applied, since once at the Aeon of Maat it will be by ISIS that the weapons will be manifested. Thus, instead of the tradition which teaches us that the rod is the creative power of CHOKMAH, the cup the receptive power of BINAH, the sword the penetration of knowledge in the spirit of the magician, and the pentacle the material receptacle of all these forces, the tradition of TYPHON teaches us that KETHER finds itself available to the magician via the cup (YOD). The cup contains the water which is the true lost member of OSIRIS (his semen), the creative principle of which the rod is an outward expression, just as this is a reflection of the phallus which is a reflection of the spermatozoid ad infinitum to the properties of water according to YOD. The Pentacle is not a material receptacle, as if the deity needed to be encrypted and to die to return to its original state on a journey with no other meaning than penance, but rather a vibratory dynamo which, as a vibrator fed by the wisdom of HOKMAH, induces in the universe the ecstasy of the ACT retaining its integrity through the elasticity of its consciousness, symbolized in the old AEON by VAU. Without the sword of skepticism, without SHIVA's caustic eye, it would be impossible for the Adept to remain cohesive in the chaotic dissolution of the static structures of the real, he would go mad in his fanaticism and egocentricity due to the greatness of his sphere of experience. But today the pentacle is in fact the earth consecrated by knowledge, it is the ISIS formula made possible by the evolution of the species, in other words, the past AEON accomplished the work of the sword and it is now done, since the earth has become the means through which the unstable fire of NESHAMAH acquires cohesion and is allowed to expand the group soul into outer space. The sword is now the delight of justice and truth, she is the daughter of the rod which is the manifest will of the cosmos with the pentacle which is the manifest will of N’Aton, and she is also the shadow of the cup which is the will of Babalon,
