About this ebook
Evangelical Fundamentalists are Christianians who adhere to a set of beliefs derived from a branch of Christianity that originated in sixteenth-century Europe. While they are found in many denominations throughout the world, they hold in common to these doctrines: 1) The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God; 2) God created the world and every living creature in it; 3) Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary as a miracle produced by the Holy Spirit; 4) only those who believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord will He raise from the dead on the day of judgment. Many Evangelicals impose their values on society and interject them into the political arena. Because they believe the LGBTQ lifestyle is sinful, they oppose extending civil rights to them. They also believe in conversion therapy to cure children and young adults of LGBTQ sexual orientation.
