Get Scriptures

A courtroom prayer session is like a conventional court where lawyers try to outdo one another by their superior arguments and the power of the laws that they know. The more laws one lawyer knows, the better his chances of winning the case.

A courtroom prayer is also a conventional spiritual courtroom where you come before the Lord with your Scriptures and strong reasons seeking him to judge a particular situation. How successful you will be, depends on your knowledge of the Bible or the Scriptures you have gathered prior to your courtroom session. Don’t just come to the courtroom for prayers with nothing. Look for Scriptures that cover areas where you want the Lord to enter judgment in your favour. And enter into the throne room armed to the teeth with those scriptures.

Pray with the Anointing Oil

Isaiah 10:27

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

The anointing oil that is blessed is a symbolic representation of God’s power. The breath of God will find its way into the bottle of oil when it is prayed over. And whenever the breath of God is present anywhere, deliverance and destructions of the work of Satan are 100% completed already. It was the breath of God that was upon the red sea that parted it into two, an act that has never been done in the history of the world. Such is the power that the anointing oil carries when it is prayed over and blessed.

After you have gained access into the courtroom before you begin your prayers you can anoint your head with oil. The anointing oil is a powerful tool in any courtroom prayer.

Psalms 133:2

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

Come with the attitude of Flexibility

Be flexible when you do your courtroom prayer session. It is possible that the Holy Spirit may impress upon your heart some things that you need to do in other to make your courtroom prayer session beneficial. Don’t be inflexible. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and do as he has commanded you to do. A man who is inflexible will find it very difficult to have a courtroom prayer session with instant answers.

Be Full of Praise

One eminent thing which you need to do in a courtroom prayer session is praise. Your access to the throne of God is affected by the power of praise. So, whenever you finish a particular courtroom prayer session, enter into brutal praise before the Lord. You will see that many of the courtroom Prayers in this book have praise in them.

Make Use of the Night Season

The night season carries one of the greatest spiritual signals that can be found in any part of the day of human existence. It is in the night season that some of the demonic work of darkness are carried out. Furthermore, witches and wizards, and the agents of the devil carry out most of their meetings at night. Under the cover of darkness, they hatch their plans in other to afflict man.

Most wicked activities of the devil take place in the night-time. The enemy uses the night to sow tares into the lives of people.

Matthew 13:25

But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

Some people go to bed at night and wake up to find everything upended and altered in their lives. It was while they were sleeping that the enemy was able to sow tares into their lives.

The night season, between the hours of 12 AM to 4 AM in the morning is perfect praying time.

Use the Prayer Watches

Acts 3:1

Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

If for any reason the night season isn’t comfortable for a courtroom prayer, you can employ the use of the prayer watches which is very effective. There are some hours in the day that are regarded as the time of prayer.

You can use the prayer watches for your courtroom prayer. The Bible says Peter and John went into the temple at the hour of prayer. The Bible specifically says it was at the ninth hour.

Generally, the hours of prayer are 6 AM, 9 AM, 12 PM, 3 PM, 6 PM, 9 PM, 12 AM, 3 AM, and 6 AM in the morning. These are the hours of prayer and you can follow these prayer watches to get instant answers to your prayers.

Stick to the prayer watches if they are convenient for you. If you are at your job that won’t allow you to pray, you can just pick any of the prayer watches in other to do a courtroom prayer.
