I dedicate this book to the generous plant ‘people’ that have nourished life on this beautiful planet. I gratefully receive and relish their incredible intelligence and wisdom in every cell of my being.

I hope we humans have the courage and will to move away from our destruction of Mother Earth, and instead protect and cherish her. Those with means are racing towards inhabiting other planets; do we have what it takes to leave this planet better than we found it?

    The Story So Far

In Nature’s Warriors Book 1 - Strange Visitor At Growley Farm, Artetrim the Light-Being from the faraway galaxy of Vhaubh arrives on planet Earth. He whooshes in from the skies onto a peaceful pasture in the town of Maipohe. Here he meets several animals grazing in the open; they have a great time talking, and the animals and plants enjoy meeting this strange new friend.

However soon a piercing whistle is heard across the pasture, and the animals freeze in fear. Their master, the farmer can be seen galloping towards them; it is now time for the animals to return to their shed and barns, and they do not look forward to it at all.

Artetrim senses their discomfort and suggests that they can stay here in the open for as long as they wish, after all they are free living beings.

Oh no, the animals inform him in unison; they are not free, their days and lives are at the mercy of humans.

Artetrim finds this idea appalling; after all where he comes from, no being is in bondage to any other being. Artetrim tries to convince the animals to live free of the dictates of their human master, but the animals inform him that they do not know how they can do that.

In any case, they inform Artetrim, they are better off than the chickens over at Growley Farm; those chickens lead a miserable life, they tell Artetrim.

With that, they reluctantly return to their sheds.

Artetrim is curious about Growley Farm, and decides to visit
