The Jack Dalton, Monster Hunter series is serial fiction. It's the sort of material that was once found in old fashioned pulp or genre magazines. Each short work is a complete story with both a beginning and end. They are the Adventures of a lone FBI Agent chasing down the evils of the world. Like episodes of a television program each book is a single part of his life. Ten books in all the series shows the beginnings of the organization later chronicled in The Federal Witch books.

I'm now into my second year as a published author. With over 25 works under my belt already my pace is relentless. Writing was never a goal of mine growing up. I really did fall into this accidentally. My wife and family knew of my love of books and urged me to try writing. It wasn't until an author i befriended gave me a short push off a long pier that i really gave it a go. And what a go that was! Athena Lee and Agatha Blackmore have given way to over 50 short stories. I write a lot. The future is in books and I'm in it for the long haul. Keep your eyes peeled for New and exciting things coming from me this year. I'm Excited, are you? This year i have expanded into the wonderful world of Cookbooks. I changed careers in the early 2000s switching from Retail management at Waldenbooks and going to Culinary School at L'Ecole Culinaire-Saint Louis in Missouri. Graduating near the very top of my class i moved on to work at the Renaissance Grand Hotel for my internship and later Masterpiece BBQ in Chesterfield, Mo as kitchen Manager. My co-writer and partner in crime for the current Tie-in cookbooks is Taki Drake. She is both an fiction writer and recipe hoarder like myself. Expect to see much more from her in the near future as she will be writing inside my Federal Witch Universe. Recently I allied myself with Phoenix Prime. Late in 2016 a group of authors entered into the Phoenix Prime writers course sponsored initially by the 20books to 50k Facebook group, of which i am a original member. I was involved with the group from it's inception and its sole admin moderator for half a year. Writer, Psychologist, and Computer security specialist extraordinaire Kat Lind chose to teach the class. Several other Authors were asked to mentor and teach special classes. I was honored to be asked to do some of that. The Group is made up of over 30 authors across all Genres. Many are just starting their publishing careers and i expect greatness from them. Chapter 1
Jack Dalton Monster Hunter
By T S Paul
In 1914 dark Witches turned Vampires loose on unsuspecting troops on the Western Front and the world changed. Beings known as paranormals were discovered to be living side by side with the humans of the world. Who knew that Witches, Vampires, Werewolves, and Fairies were real?
Jump ahead now forty-five years to the United States and the establishment of the Magical Security Act of 1959. Against the wishes of FBI Director J Edgar Hoover, the American Congress established an arm of the FBI to hunt down and bring to justice any and all paranormal criminals. This is their story. Or I should say mine.
Congratulations on the promotion, Jack!
That was what the paper sign hanging in the common room said. Drunk and half-drunk FBI Academy graduates were staggering around the room. The jukebox in the corner was blasting out the latest and greatest tunes by the Platters, Elvis, and Buddy Holly.
I was the man of the hour, but I was sitting in the corner of the room beer in hand staring out at the snow. The promotion sounded good on paper, but it wasn’t real. Of course, none of my classmates saw that trap. To them, it was a promotion to a brand new division in a Bureau that was rarely innovative. I remembered my interview with the big man himself, Director J Edgar Hoover and laughed, what a day that was.
So, you’re Jack Dalton. Director Hoover will be with you soon.
The secretary was an older woman with bluish-white hair. She looked over her horn rim glasses at me like I was a bug she needed to kill.
The office was nice. Much more elaborate and glamorous than those at the Academy. The walls were
