Now, readers can continue to follow these two brothers as they are on a boat, just drifting along while Chance gambles to win a stake and Ace just moseys alongside. While it appears that Chance has won a huge bet and the brothers don’t have to work for a bit, Ace has an uneasy feeling about it all. When an alarm sounds on the boat, the brothers are about embark on a wild ride that has them chasing thieves, helping some pioneers and trying to come out of it all alive!Ace and Chance are twins though not fraternal, but they know each other so well they can just about read each other’s mind. Ace is more laid back though he sports a .45 Colt, while Chance loves to gamble and get a grub stake for them to live on because they are fiddle footed. Throughout the story, it was fun to see how two young men who are peacekeepers for the most part tend to draw bullets like bees to honey!I found the two main nefarious characters an interesting match, one is Ling and the other is Haggarty, an unlikely a pair as readers will ever meet. But don’t underestimate them, they are very sneaky and bring enough action to the tale to keep you turning pages for hours. I also enjoyed discovering why the book is titled the way it is, and I think you will as well. Ace and Chance Jensen novels are one of the best series the authors have to offer. Read book one, Those Jensen Boys! and then Rimfire for hours of entertainment.
