About this ebook

Trailing a rare coyote through the Sierra Nevadas puts two old friends on the path to love in this “zesty romance” by the New York Times bestselling author (Publishers Weekly).

To wildlife biologist Harley Stephens, landscape around Wishful, California, is exhilarating, untamed, and more than a little dangerous. The same could be said for wilderness guide T.J. Wilder, whose invited himself along on her trek to study a rare coyote. But Harley’s career is riding on this trip, and she doesn’t need a stubborn, incredibly sexy distraction tagging along.

For T.J., Harley is the one woman he’s never been able to forget. But he’s a professional guide who knows when to stay back and when to provide invaluable expertise—just like he’s done since they were in high school. And Harley, as usual, is torn between throttling him and giving in to the raw attraction that’s been smoldering all these years…

Fantastic Contemporary Romance Once you’ve finished appreciating the gorgeous cover you can get around to appreciating the book! Jill Shlavis writes contemporary romance like nobody’s business. So much humour, great love scenes, incredible dialogue, great characters. Whenever I pick up a Jill Shalvis book I know I’m going to be thoroughly entertained. This is the third book in the Wilder Brothers trilogy, and it does not disappoint. The adventure of falling in love out in the wilderness, a group of entertaining characters populating the stories...this is everything that’s great about this genre. TJ and Harley are such fun characters (TJ’s way of ‘making up’ for past mistakes in their love life is hilarious). Shalvis will have you laughing out loud. It’s a good idea to read these books in order, because each story is as good as the next, and all three brothers and their women are worth getting to know. Very highly recommended.

I love the way Jill writes damaged, vulnerable characters, and hot alpha men. Her women are self-sufficient and her men are loyal. She is my "go to" for an adventurous, sexy read and I don't even know how to write a review anymore that doesn't gush. She provides consistently excellent writing and consistently fun stories.

This is the 3rd and final book in Shalvis' Wilder Adventures series. I really enjoyed the first two and was looking forward to reading about TJ and Harley.

In the previous books TJ seems the least likely to fall in love. He's aloof and detached, though he obviously cares about his family. I was surprised then that he was the one who was willing to think about more than a casual relationship.

Harley's reasons for not wanting to pursue a relationship with TJ were sound, but they seemed to go on just a bit too long.

The backdrop and secondary characters were was wonderful as always. I love the relationship between the three brothers and Harley and her sister, Skye. They were very well written.

Well, hell, I just typed a huge long thing and the stupid connection at Panera LOST IT ALL.

    I'll be brief.

    *Not her best work
*At times tedious and redundant (maybe find a new way to describe sexy jeans so they're not all the same exact pair. on all the boys... js js js)
    *The best of the series
*Glad I didn't start with her early work, otherwise I would have flounced.

This is TJ Wilder and Harley's story - for those of us who had read the earlier books, it was pretty obvious these two were going to get together - their URST was off the charts. It was a mostly fun sexy story and it was good to see Harley and TJ finally get together but again there wasn't a huge amount of conflict. There was a mild suspense subplot which didn't go anywhere which I thought was not needed. It was an enjoyable read, but nothing earth shattering.
